A New Survivor, Burning Up, and Strange Magics
A New Survivor
Hoo. You ducked into the abandoned house just in time to avoid the neighborhood zombie horde. That was close. Wait. This house isn't abandoned. You smell... maple syrup? You wander upstairs to find a fellow survivor making flapjacks on a portable griddle! Who is this?! Why, it's Scott, Mayday's latest addition.
From the looks of it, he'll be helping set up, run, and maintain Kickstarter campaigns from start to fulfillment for Mayday. You mutter thanks as he passes you some pancackes. It'll be a dang shame when the zombies eventually get him.
In talking with the few surviors in the area, you've caught rumors of an expansion to Eaten By Zombies that would offer a fresh source of fuel to power your chainsaw and generally Burn It Down. Unfortunately, the campaign didn't make it, but you've also heard Mayday is in talks with survivor Max Holliday to get it made.
You're not sure what caused this zombie plague, but you're fairly certain magic wasn't involved. Magic tends to be pretty silly, such as in Mayday's latest Kickstarter campaign: Voodoo, the Magical Party Game of Curses.
Instead of running for your life, Voodoo has players rolling dice to cast ridiculous curses on each other for points, including needing to keep your elbows touching or even keeping a hand on the table at all times. You found a film clip for this game, too:
