Frequently Asked Questions
Your pledge does NOT include premium card sleeves at all, if you'd like those they are $2/pack and no extra shipping. For a single set of the game you are looking at the MDG-7077 (Premium card sleeves) X 4 packs. Figure another 3 packs for the expansion and promo cards. If you want PREMIUM sleeves for the actual tab dividers they are the MDG-7106 sleeves which retail for $4.95/pack, you would need one pack at $4 for you. So for an entire game with expansion and tab dividers you are looking at 7 packs X 2.00 = $14 + $4 for premium divider sleeves = $18.00. If you want that for two full copies (with expansion + promo cards) figure $36 total for sleeves.
Just adjust your pledge accordingly and email us directly at email@example.com with what you have included and we will get your items adjusted.Last updated:
I am excited to pledge for this game but I didn't see anywhere to alter my shipping address. Does it default to the billing address? I'd rather now have my package sent there. Is there anyway I can change this?
After the funding goes through we will email you with a Kickstarter Survey to see what address you want your game shipped to. Once we get that survey back we will get the game out to the proper address. Your billing address is NOT where we will send it by default unless you tell us so in the survey after the funding period ends.Last updated:
It means there was a typo in the initial project listing but we had a supporter within 5 minutes of listing it so we were unable to change it. You get FREE shipping w/in the USA at the $25 level. We had initially set this level at $30 but figured, why be greedy?Last updated:
How many cards are there in the promo pack? Will there be enough sleeves for them if I just get 2 packs?
Wow.. great question Magnus... we had NOT thought of that! There are 5 cards in the promo pack and 198 in the game... so NO, you will NOT be able to sleeve them with just 2 packs of sleeves.. great point! We will put an extra 10 sleeves into the shipments of anyone who gets packs of sleeves for the game with their pledge so you will have enough though! Sound good? Thanks for pointing that out!Last updated:
Theme question taken from Board Game Geek: My thematic question is this - you say that when you KILL a zombie, it comes into your deck, and that sounds like it slows you down a bit (as you draw them) but then you get to unleash them on someone else... an
Thanks for inquirering about my game.
I've taken almost all thematic qualities from Romero films and have tried to design a game that felt like you were in one. In zombie films as with the game killing people is a hard to do and it wares on the mind, even though they are dead and trying to eat you!
So as you kill the zombies you lose a bit of your humanity and with it your mind will slowly unravel... you'll start making mistakes; not taking the things you may need ever time you go out (drawing zombies); walking away or just not helping when you know your friends are in trouble (playing zombies on them); or completely losing it and just going around unlocking all the door and just letting the zombies have what they want(having a hand full of zombies)
When you Flee you may have gotten away but you also just left your friends standing there and they now have to deal with it, but at least you don't have any blood on your hands! In the game every turn one zombies turns up and one zombie wonders off. If on your turn you fled from a Horde with more than one zombie in it, only one of them gets lost and wonders off the the others stay around for the next player and a new zombies joins the Horde as well. But if you can't flee from all the zombies they all catch up and try to take bit out of you.
I know that sounds like a lot is going on but its all hidden away in the mechanics (like a Eurogame)If your not into zombies it's just a nail bitty game of who can use their resources the most efficiently. If you love zombies, you'll laugh as you release you just left your Safe House with nothing but bad memory's, a Sandwich and a Heavy Stick!! (like Ameritrash)
Out of my game groups I'm really the only one who loves zombie movies and making a game that both felt like a Zombie Movie but didn't feel like 'zombies in game form' was a big deal to me when I designed this.
I hope that cleared that up for you and thanks again for your interest in my little game!Last updated:
Yes the Special Undead Collector Level ($120) also included the promo cards! Great question David!Last updated:
No problem, just figure $7 per copy of the game for shipping and $3 per copy of the 2-player expansion per copy for international shipping. We have also added some International shipping levels to some of the higher levels now too.Last updated:
I wanted to add $8 for the premium sleeves. I would also be interested in getting sleeves for the expansion, but seeing as it isn't done yet I'm guessing there isn't an option for that right now...?
The 2 player expansion will have around 100 cards in it, so if you want to add sleeves for that as well just figure an extra 2 packs of premium or 1 pack of standard sleeves. They are $2 per pack. Thanks!Last updated:
