Hey Kickstarter! We are excited to be here with our first project. If you are as passionate about the craft cocktail scene as we are, you may just plain want to bring the bar with you as well. We believe you are going to love B-bag.
Together we have over three decades of experience in the craft bartending industry, but there has always been one thing missing. We’ve tried carpenters bags (pictured below), cheap bartenders kits and nothing really worked the way we needed it to. So, we decided to create B-bag.
Put on the market before us were bartender’s tool rolls and very expensive, not so functional bartender's bags. Although these are great, they still did not provide us with exactly what we were looking for. Until now.
We wanted to create something that was functional, versatile, and affordable all while being fashionable. After months and months of prototyping and finding that the US alone employs over 555,000 bartenders, we’ve come up with something we think is amazing, and will be a game changer in the industry for years to come.
Bring The Bar
A wall of three rows of pockets was designed. The bottom two were created to perfectly fit your desired craft bartending tools, while the top level delivers easy access to your cell phone, wallet, keys, or business cards.
The interior face of the fold down pocket was designed with a snap tight enclosure to accommodate your cutting board, Ziploc full of pour spouts, iPad, or just a notepad for your next meeting. The stitched bar tack panel provides an area for up to three bar spoons, a muddler, and bar whisk.
Now a bartender can carry everything from a cocktail shaker to a bar spoon and everything up to a few bottles, or a change of clothes while on the go. Don't forget your bitters, Lewis bag, or ice scoop.
We have teamed up with TrekPak to provide the only one of its kind, removable and adjustable insert enabling you to lock things into position and limit them from moving around or breaking.
Though the bag is designed for the professional bartender, the B-bag is versatile enough for anyone who enjoys owning a well-made bag. Throw all the tools and inserts out and you have yourself a weekend bag.
The bag is an investment, so making the bag with high-quality materials was really important to us so that you would only have to purchase the bag once. We wanted to make a bag that was cost effective for a bartender. We feel that we have done a great job and you will be very happy when you get a B-bag in your hands.
When designing B-bag, we didn't want a medical bag or bowling bag. We chose materials and a design aesthetic that would wear well and serve a dual-purpose as a weekend bag.

We work in the craft industry and we wanted to be just as specialized when making this bag. B-bag is a handmade bag designed and assembled right here in Seattle WA, a mecca for the thriving craft cocktail scene. B-bag is 110% Made in the USA. We wanted to be able to see it being made in our own backyard. That connection to the product was a priority for us and something we take pride in.
We spent countless hours researching, developing and refining the concept behind the B-bag. Every detail and feature was thoughtfully considered and tested so that we could deliver the best product possible.
We also talked with professionals who mobile bartend, cater or are brand ambassadors and their feedback was both helpful and positive. With their input, we were able to design a bag specifically around their and our needs.
B-bag will be manufactured in Seattle, WA by an experienced factory with highly skilled sewers specializing in soft goods products. We’re in contact with them now and they are ready for us to move forward once our campaign ends.
We’ve created a production schedule based on what they have told us. We will do everything within our control to stay true to this schedule and update our backers about any potential delays.

- OCT 16 - Sign-off on Final Sample
- NOV 7 - Have All Sourced Materials Shipped For Production

As a small team, we’ve done everything within our capacity to get B-bag to this point. We’ve already invested over $5000 to create the best product possible, but we can’t launch B-bag on our own. We need your support to help pay for the high costs ($30,000) involved in making our first production run.
If we hit our fundraising goal, we’ll be able to produce B-bag and build momentum to launch a brand new company dedicated to training and making great products for the craft bartending industry. This is only the beginning of what’s to come.

Risks and challenges
The main risk of any project like this is delays in materials and production. Our designs are finished and our sources and factories are ready. It's not if we will ship, it's a matter of when.
We've worked very hard in creating this project to align ourselves with some of the best that still are in the industry here in Seattle. This in turn will hopefully help limit our risks.
We uphold high standards and entrust our manufacturer to producing a high quality product. They have been sewing since 1987. We will only ship out products that at 100% ready, but no earlier. That date is December 2014.
However, sometimes reality becomes a factor. If something unforeseen happens with our supply chain, we'll be transparent and keep you posted about your order status.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
