About this project
WE'VE REACHED OUR BASE GOAL!! THANK YOU!!
But it doesn't end here! The base goal allows us to create three episodes--a satisfying, complete arc chronicling Malfalia's war against the evil Princesses--but our stretch goals will allow us to create more episodes and flesh out our world. What are we looking for, you might ask? Well:
$60,000 – Four episodes!
$75,000 – Five episodes!
$90,000 – Six episodes!
And to infinity and beyond! Your wish is our command, we will make as many episodes as you want to see! If you want our opinion: at six episodes, we would really be able to flesh out Malf's journey and give the supporting cast time to shine! So keep being awesome and spread the word.
To the Royal Kingdom of Serenadia, where singing is power. With the right song, you can bring peace to the downtrodden, bake a delicious birthday cake... even KILL!
Hence, the Golden King has decreed all Blackhearts must bear the Muzzle: a magic tattoo that punishes those who try to sing.
Malfalia (Ashly Burch) is the daughter of the most terrifying Blackheart in the kingdom... but she secretly wants to be a princess. Not to mention her habit of sneaking song verses when her mother’s away. Eternally torn between her obsession with princesses and the Blackheart blood that runs in her veins, Malf might be more powerful than even her legendary mother... maybe powerful enough to unshackle the Muzzles and return the gift of Song to her people.
Ashly Burch is not only star and co-writer of the hilarious webseries Hey Ash, Whatcha Playin? She also lends her voice talents to awesome stuff like Bee and Puppy Cat, Adventure Time, and Borderlands 2!
Princess Ambrosia (Ashley Clements) is the Golden King’s daughter and Malfalia’s childhood hero. In theory a perfectly coifed princess adored across the Kingdom, Ambrosia is, in reality, a ruthless wild child who commands a vast entourage of evil party princesses... all of whom hate the Blackhearts, and will stop for nothing until Ambrosia wrests command of the Kingdom from her father.
Ashley Clements is best known for playing the iconic Elisabeth Bennet in the beloved, critically-acclaimed, Emmy-winning series The Lizzie Bennet Diaries, and for which she was also nominated for a Streamy Award for Best Female Performance in a Comedy. Learn more about Ashley at www.ashleyclements.net and follow her @TheAshleyClem on twitter!
Hadey (Mary Kate Wiles) and Damon (Maxwell Glick) are Malfalia’s best and only friends. Hadey, daughter to the Lord of the Underworld, is all about the Blackheart pride... but secretly envies Malf’s position as heiress to the legacy of the Black Matron. Damon's a good-hearted if mischievous half-demon and acts, perhaps ironically, as the conscience of the Blackheart trio.
Mary Kate Wiles is in pretty much everything. She played Lydia Bennet in The Lizzie Bennet Diaries and its spin-off, The Lydia Bennet!!; Zelda in Squaresville; and Sansa in School of Thrones. She's also appeared on The Middle, and in the upcoming films The Sound and The Shadow and Hello, My Name Is Frank.
Maxwell Glick's prolific webseries career heralds back to the classic lonelygirl15 and now includes Mr. Collins in The Lizzie Bennett Diaries, Stannis in School of Thrones, and he was the official spokesman for Taco John's!
Krampus (Joey Richter) was once the Black Matron’s deadliest lieutenant, back during the bloody Songwars. Hadey's childhood bedroom walls were covered in posters of his face. But ever since those glory days, he's now the indentured servant of the Golden King himself... which would make him the perfect sleeper agent should the Songwars come again...
Joey Richter is a veteran of the musical stage, performing in several fantastic Starkid productions, perhaps most notably as Ron Weasley in A Very Potter Musical. He can be seen as Officer Petey on the Disney Channel’s Jessie and as Apple #8 on Glee. This past summer Joey worked as both an actor and producer on a production of The Last Days of Judas Iscariot at Stage 773.
Prince Dashing is a cocky teen prince from a kingdom far away, serving as Ambrosia’s royal arm candy. But there's more to him than you'd first expect. When Malf discovers his secret anti-Royal sympathies, her revenge scheme (including her fake friendship with Ambrosia) gets all kinds of complicated.
Brendan Bradley trained at The Royal Academy and New York University, and has performed all over the world in theater, television and film festivals including Sundance, SXSW and Methodfest for which he received the award for Best Actor. He invites you to access more at: www.brendanAbradley.com
The Golden King rules from his penthouse high above the Kingdom, crushing cardio on his gold-plated elliptical. He's utterly wrapped around his daughter Ambrosia's little finger, but lest you knaves get any funny ideas, know this: it's a deadly mistake to underestimate the King.
Kevin Sorbo is himself a legend in the world of fantasy and sci-fi film and television. With over one hundred acting credits, he has played iconic roles such as Hercules in Hercules: The Legendary Journeys; Captain Dylan Hunt in Andromeda; and Kull in Kull the Conqueror.
The Black Matron, legendary Blackheart and single working mother, is the stuff of living nightmares. It's even said her true name cannot be spoken in the mortal tongue. Her bid for power overthrown, the Matron now serves the Golden King by fitting all newly-registered Blackhearts with Muzzles. But has she truly settled into a life of servitude... or is the Matron playing the long game?
Juliet Landau is an amazing actor of screen and stage, and has lent her voice to numerous television shows and video games. She's a cult icon for her fantastic performance as Drusilla in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel.
Captain Hook (Jeff Lewis), newly-registered Blackheart (thanks to a misunderstanding with a gaggle of flying children), is currently trying to survive his budding romance with The Black Matron.
Jeff Lewis (Captain Hook) is an actor and screenwriter best known as Herman "Vork" Holden on the ultra-hit webseries The Guild, for which he has won numerous awards. He also created the web sketch series, The Jeff Lewis 5-Minute Comedy Hour. He is an alumnus of ACME Comedy Theatre and a graduate of The Groundlings and The Second City.
And make way for Ambrosia's Badass Party Princess Entourage!

Brittany and Brianna Winner (The Winner Twins) are national bestselling science fiction authors, screenplay writers, and teachers. They run a 501 (c)3 nonprofit Motivate 2 Learn. When the twins aren’t writing novels, working comic conventions or writing movies, they love to dance and sing. They are excited to get away from writing for a moment and get transported to the Royal Kingdom of Serenadia.
