Hey guys, Matt here. It’s time to launch my newly completed album, “I Wanna Live Like That,” along with my latest video, “Dress Down” for the upcoming single release this SPRING!
2014 is going to be a big year for the “Bailie Nation” and I can’t wait for you to be a part of it!
Check out more of my music here.
Here’s the thing, I need your help to make this album release a success.
There are a few challenges ahead as we plan for the release. Releases mean video promotion and marketing, we’re targeting networks like CMT, GAC, and other video outlets; those handy-dandy CDs you’ve been asking for need packaging to keep them scratch-free on their travels; manufacturing and distribution don’t run cheap either, but they’re a necessity in making this dream and hard work a reality. I’m hoping you will partner with me to bring this project to fruition.
Here’s where the funds add up. Ready for the breakdown?
- Manufacturing CD
- Marketing the CD & video
- Single Release
- CD Packaging
Over the last year I’ve been working with ACM and CMA Award-Winning producer, Darran Smith to produce my sophomore project, I Wanna Live Like That.
Grammy Award winner, Julian King, engineered the project with Jonathan Russell handling the mastering in their Nashville studio. Julian is most recognized for his production work on Faith Hill’s Grammy-Winning Album, “Breathe.”
On my album, you’ll experience work done by hit markers from Nashville’s top talent in sound engineering, studio musicians, and background vocalists. We took the single, “Dress Down,” to video with help from Vintage Flicks and Amanda Young, Documanda Productions. Vintage Flicks’ videography is recognized for work on projects like Tracy Lawrence’s video, “Find Out Who Your Friends Are.” Flick filmed us getting down n’ dirty (literally) in the mud holes of Tennessee during the summer of 2013. Trust me when I say, it’s time for the world to see it!
Both the album and video are fully completed and ready to go. Now it’s time for public eyes and ears to experience all of the hard work and creativity so many of us have put into producing this Album over the last year.
Although, I am asking for $10,000, that is just the minimum amount necessary for the album and release and promotions.
If this Kickstarter project earns:
- $15,000 - Radio and Magazine Publicity
- $20,000 - Radio promotions and radio tour to get my music on YOUR radio stations!
- $25,000-$100,000 - I could get on with a booking agent for touring and/or transportation for touring.
The possibilities are endless, but they all require financial backing.
You’re truly an amazing piece to this campaign and for that we want to create something extra-special and personalized just for you. As a backer, you get cool stuff from me like my album, handwritten lyrics, album credits, merchandise, a skype concert, a cover picked by you, hang out sesh with us while we record, and so much more! Check out the backing perks to get all the exciting details. Also, thank you in advance! Bailie Nation loves you, a LOT!
Let's work together to get this music heard across the nation.
Hard to believe it all began with a mesmerized kid with a karaoke machine watching Garth Brooks perform on TV. Check out more about how I got to where I am here (it’s a good story, I promise).
Remember, if we don’t reach the $10,000 goal in 30-days, you don’t get charged, we don’t receive any of the money you’ve pledged, and this project won’t make it to the public… This is an “all or nothing” deal. Become a backer, be a part of the Matt Bailie music experience.
Be sure to share this with your friends, family, and network… copy the link and share it on Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+, and heck… even SnapChat it! Don't forget to tag us #BailieNation. I’m so thankful for all that you do and all of your support. This experience would not be possible without you. Thanks for being a part of this; you are the reason for my music.

QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE:
- Why are you asking for $10,000? I have recorded an amazing album "I Wanna Live Like That" with some of the industries best producers, engineers and musicians. Many record labels will spend anywhere between $150,000 - $500,000 to record and produce a full-length industry standard album. I am very proud to say that I have been able to complete my full-length sophomore album for under $100,000 with out a label. But the costs continue in order to get it to your ears. That is why I am asking very graciously for your help in funding the release and promotion of my album and video.
- What happens to my money if you don't reach the goal of $10,000? If you pledge money but the goal isn't met by the end of the 30 days, you do NOT get charged.
- When will the record come out? The album is set to be released at the end of March 2014, beginning of April 2014 at the latest. (But only if this project is funded completely)
If you have ANY additional questions about this project, backer rewards, etc, please feel free to email me at MATTBAILIEFANCLUB@AOL.COM.
Risks and challenges
The obstacle that I now face is having the financial backing to market and promote this project. The video needs to be promoted and marketed to the networks such as CMT, GAC and other video outlets. The CD needs to go into packaging, as we already have the CD artwork completed and the full album has been mastered and is ready to go! This is where I need all of your help… It will take a minimum of $10,000 to properly market this CD and video to the public and to my fans. I know this is a generous amount of money, but rest assured that we are working with knowledgeable marketing specialists in Nashville that know what to do.
Although there is always a possibility for setbacks, risks and challenges even after the goal is met, such as production delay, video not being picked up by nation networks, radio not playing the single, not obtaining a booking agent, I feel very confident that with the project you and I have made together, that industry executives, radio staff, and networks will fall head over heels for what we are presenting them.
I have the best fans an artist could ask for… they have been with me ever since I took the road to Nashville to live out my dream. I want to bring this new music and video to the fans and make some new fans! I know I can count on my fans, friends and family. Over the past seven years in Nashville, I have learned so much about this industry and have met so many amazing people, each one of them having helped me along the way, becoming friends, and playing intricate parts in my career. Thank you all! You know who you are.

The most important thing you can do after becoming a backer is to please tell your friends. Talk to a few of your friends and get them involved. EVERYTHING that you do COUNTS. All the new friends that become backers create the opportunity for more and more people to hear the music and get involved! I value and appreciate my fans and anyone else that is willing to help fulfill my hopes to get my music to the public stage.
