For now, the Kickstarter campaign for Kemet: Blood and Sand will available in English, German, French, Italian, Spanish and Korean.
It might be translated into other languages before or during the campaign, depending on partnerships with distributors.
Chinese & Japanese languages have or will have their own campaign on different platforms.
Chinese version (starting on June 23rd)
Japanese version is live here: https://crowd-fans.com/projects/49Last updated:
All components, except the rulebook and player aid sheets, are language-independent.Last updated:
None of the components available during the campaign will be exclusive to the Kickstarter campaign. The base game Kemet: Blood and Sand will be available in retail. As for the other components unlocked during the campaign (stretch goals, add-ons) :
You will be able to acquire these components during the Kickstarter campaign of course, or directly from Matagot provided we still have stock available.
You may therefore not be able to purchase all the new products offered during the Kickstarter after the campaign Kemet: Blood and Sand.
Kickstarter is still the safest way for you to acquire the game and all of its components at the best possible price.Last updated:
Whenever possible, games from a Matagot Kickstarter campaign will be available in stores or through the Matagot online store after the campaign is fulfilled. This will depend on the success of the game, on agreements with distributors country by country, on stocks…Last updated:
Because you support us and the game you love. That should always be the first reason. By supporting the campaign and the game on Kickstarter, you also don't have to worry about the availability and benefit from a special price and get all the stretch goals.Last updated:
[CAMPAIGN] Should I buy Kemet: Blood and Sand if I enjoy the first edition, but want to play with the new features?
We are working on components that we believe would benefit from being improved or visually enhanced because we want to share our love of Kemet: Blood and Sand with you. We sincerely hope you’ll love them as much as we do. However, we understand that some of you like the current art of the game better.
This is why we’ve chosen to make an upgrade pack available so that you can benefit from the improvements we made to the game without changing the art.Last updated:
Even though Champollion backers only pay 50% of their pledge now, we will include 100% of their pledge in the end of the campaign to help unlock more stretch goals.Last updated:
[CAMPAIGN] How can I add an add-on if I’m a Champollion backer?
In the base game, there are 33 ID cards (44 x 68 mm) and 42 Battle Cards (63 x 88 mm).Last updated:
We listened to your requests and the designers are working on a solo mode, but it will not be ready for the 2020 Kickstarter campaign. So for sure it will not be included in the Kemet: Blood and Sand 2020 campaign.Last updated:
We listened to your requests and are currently working, amongst other things, on the number of tiles available to maintain the tension when purchasing power tiles. Preliminary playtests were very positive and we’re confident it will be finalized in the coming months.Last updated:
You can become a backer in just three easy steps:
Step 1: Read through the pledge levels and rewards we're offering in the right sidebar of this page.
Step 2: Click the large, green "BACK THIS PROJECT" button to the right of the trailer video at the top of this page.
Step 3: Enter your pledge amount, and complete the steps for filling in your information. This process takes just a few seconds! That's it! It's really that simple! Thank you for backing!
Soon after the campaign ends, you’ll be given access to our Pledge Manager. The Pledge manager is a website that gives you the opportunity to manage your contribution. You will be able to:
- choose the language of your game,
- confirm your shipping details (delivery address and phone number) and find out the shipping cost.
For the delivery, we will only use the information you provided in your Pledge Manager, NOT the information from your Kickstarter account!Last updated:
Yes, but you will not help other backers to unlock all the stretch goals.Last updated:
Unfortunately, we must also take into account the situation in each country. It may be that the measures taken by your government, for your well-being and that of your loved ones, will delay delivery.Last updated:
After the success of the campaign and discussions with our shipping partner, we’ve been able to lower the shipping costs for Iceland and Luxembourg.
Iceland will be shipping at the “Rest of European Hub” prices.
Veteran- 17€, God-25€, Pantheon-61€
Luxembourg will be shipping at the same prices as Germany.
Veteran- 8€, God-14€, Pantheon-21€
Unfortunately, we’re unable to make changes to the shipping costs posted in the Kickstarter. Instead, we’ll have corrected prices in the pledge manager where everyone will be verifying their orders.
New backers in Iceland/Luxembourg those areas have 2 options:
Back the campaign at “Pledge Without Reward” level for the full amount.
Wait until the Crowd Ox pledge manager launches and order the game as a Late Pledge.
For those of you in the affected regions who’ve already backed the campaign, you can change your pledge to “Pledge Without Reward” and change the amount, or leave the pledge as is and use the extra funds in the pledge manager to purchase additional items like sleeves, expansions, or other goodies.Last updated:
