A revolutionary modular dice system! This magnetic dice tower folds and deploys unlike any other to upgrade your tabletop experience. For use by itself or alongside the entire modular system, the Nomad's Armory. Handcrafted in the USA, bring convenient heirloom quality woodworking to your game night. With amazing capacity and functionality, the only thing comparable to the masterwork design is our quality craftsmanship with solid wood. Take a look below at the beautiful and exotic woods we are starting this Kickstarter with.
The Nomad's Magnetic Dice Tower! Our newest entry to the Armory lineup. A magnetic, fully collapsible tower that features 3 ramps, a hook to be able to attach to the sides of the Nomad's Tray wherever you like, and a back plate that allows for easier 1 handed rolls or as a backboard for dice for those who like to chuck dice into their tower. The ramps are engineered at an angle that allows for dice to roll into the center of the tray, vs. flying to the back or simply rolling out and plopping un-energetically at the foot of the tower.
Our Leather Trays are hand crafted from solid wood, like all our accessories, and use no plywood in it's construction. The rolling surface is a quality, 1/8" thick leather surface, to ensure durability and a lifetime of use, without wearing out. The magnets are strong, rare earth magnets, specially formulated to be glued into wood, unlike silver coated magnets. If you see silver magnets in our pictures, that only means it's a prototype, the final versions of all our projects will have black, neodymium magnets.
Our Nomad's Trays change from an armory able to store 16+ sets of dice, to deploying as a full dice rolling tray. While folded as a container, the Tray Armory can hold both a Dice Box and a Nomad's Magnetic Dice Tower, at the same time. The Nomad's lid, while an amazing upgrade, is not necessary. All Nomad's Armory Dice Trays come with a standard lid included in the initial price. The standard lid does it's job perfectly; it holds everything inside when closed. It does not, however, come with the 2 extra pockets and dry erasable stainless steel plate that the Nomad's lid does.
Regardless of the pocket cut chosen, pricing is the same. Choice of pocket will be chosen after the Kickstarter on our pledge manager survey. Our dice boxes can fit up to 3 sets of standard polyhedral dice, or a combination of various accessories that include miniatures, pencils, pens, and dry erase markers. A full brick of 36d6 will fit inside our dice boxes with ease.

Shipping costs are always a challenge. Prices change constantly, and so many factors go into it that it's difficult to charge a rate this early on. Our hope is to save you money and find ways to decrease shipping costs, especially to our out of Country and overseas patrons.
Risks and challenges
This projects risk is fairly low. Since our last Kicksatrter we have added both additional craftsmen and machinery to our company. We’ve increased the size of our manufacturing workspace to allow the addition of this new equipment and employees.
In our last kickstarter mother nature struct and knocked us down for over a week during an early winter ice storm. A tree was uprooted and landed on the power lines running to our property, after which point we invested in a generator so this would not be a repeat problem. Among a few other unforeseen delays (like training employees), we wanted to ensure that the quality going to our customers was the best possible, and had to slow down production to meet our high standards. Timing is everything, but quality comes first, so this time we are better prepared and understand those times. Fulfillment is being handled in a smaller batch this go around. This is to help ensure that items are delivered on time.
Also, in spite of increasing the size of our dice boxes and trays on our last Kickstarter, we still delivered the orders and ate the cost difference to craft this larger product that enabled you to fit the accessories you need at a game table. Everyone was extremely supportive of this decision to increase the size and, though it added to the delays, gave everyone a much better product that everyone went home extremely happy with.
There is also the risk of machines not cooperating and deciding to break down at inopportune times. To mitigate this, we do regular PM’s and cleanings on our equipment. We are also always looking at additional equipment to help make things faster and better. Last year we added our first CNC Router, a second Laser machine and a portable multi machine sanding station. This year we will add our second CNC Router and a few other pieces of equipment to streamline the manufacturing process.
As for challenges we have a few that every manufacturer faces. Receiving sourced materials in a timely matter, fluctuating market prices that cut into our funding and our growing current manufacturing facilities. I call these challenges because that’s on us and we will not let this affect the outcome of our kickstarter fulfillment obligations. We have a good supply chain for all the raw materials we use and our suppliers know who we are because of the volumes we buy in.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
