$15,000 - Every backer will receive an Item Pack in-game that will significantly boost your Monsters. It will increase all your stats and give you more Hit Points to last into the late rounds of battle!
$20,000 - Every Backer will receive a bonus Monster that will have the highest stats at level 1. Because of your support, you will be rewarded with a significant edge on the battlefield
$30,000 - I will host a Rock Paper MONSTERS! party in Michigan where all of you are invited. We will have food, drink, and Rock Paper MONSTERS! Tournaments with giveaways! Thank you so much!
What if I want to buy more reward items?
Kickstarter only allows you to pledge once. If you want additional items with your pledge level, select the pledge level you want and add to the pledge total with the following values:

Rock Paper Scissors (RPS) is the easiest game in the world to play and people of all ages can play it. It is often used on the playground to settle who will be team captain and for a friendly competition among friends. If I had my way, RPS would be an Olympic sport and even be used to determine the next President of the United States. Luckily for everyone else, I don’t make those choices.
We have seen a lot of games that everyone played growing up emerge on mobile devices, such as hangman, Scrabble, and Boggle, but no RPS-type game has been able to provide a unique and competitive experience, until now.
I am creating a mobile game for Apple and Android devices that will provide the ultimate battle ground for Rock Paper Scissors competition with unique gameplay that will keep you coming back for more! This game will have Battles against the computer, friends, and random players, Achievements to earn and a store to purchase power-ups and new Monsters using coins earned in-game.
Okay so what’s unique about it?
The traditional Rock Paper Scissors battle has 3 possible moves: Rock, Paper, and Scissors (Duh). This game adopts the advanced version commonly referred to as Rock Paper Scissors Lizard Spock, where each move you make will beat two and be defeated by two other moves. This is where I bring in the Monsters!
Instead of you performing moves against another person, you’ll get to choose from a massive collection of Monsters to fight for you. I call it, Rock Paper MONSTERS! Each of the 5 moves will now deal damage to the opposing Monster instead of just winning that turn. The amount of damage dealt increases based on your Monsters stats, which can be increased by leveling up and using items.
The cool thing about dealing damage instead of just winning a turn is that just because you won 2 out of 3 turns, you might lose the match if the other Monster dealt more damage. This gives the higher level Monsters an advantage, but still allows the little guy to have a chance.
After 3 turns, the losing Monster loses one health point and the battle continues until one Monster reaches 0 health. The winning Monster receives their reward and bragging rights, while the losing one plots their revenge.
Pfft, I’ll just focus all my time around increasing a single stat and make it extremely overpowered
Have fun with that. To make things interesting, each player will be able to see the most common played moves that each Monster makes. This adds a heightened level of strategy to help every player make the most strategic moves and also try to trick their opponent into thinking they’ll play a certain move more often.

This is the ultimate crowd funding website with an extremely passionate fan base. I have watched as thousands of people made their own dreams come true with the collective help of all of you. It is amazing how far some have been able to go with your support.
What I need from Kickstarter is to raise enough in pledges to pay for the amazing talent I have found that are ready to make Rock Paper MONSTERS happen.

- Web Service to manage the data and multiplayer functionality
- License fees for tools and integration in the iTunes and Play stores

Risks and challenges
The following challenges have been acknowledged and have the following action plans:
- I have found a great developer from Interactive Monster named Kevin Loughran who is amped about beginning development on Rock Paper MONSTERS! He has years of experience in the interactive industry and has developed many games including a recently successful Kickstarter project "Legend of Fat Ninja". http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/zephyrgames/legend-of-fat-ninja
I have complete faith in Kevin and his abilities and we are already working out the details of how to make this game better for everyone
- To maintain all the active games, data, and user accounts, I need to maintain a server to handle all the incoming/outgoing requests by device. It will have to be scalable to handle the traffic as the game grows. I will be working with the developer to ensure the response time and load will be appropriate for all users. I don't want the players to have to worry about lag and server outages so this is critical
Everything about this game has been a work in progress for almost 2 years. The algoithms, Monsters, and mechanics have all been fine tuned and are all ready to be turned into a functioning game. All that is left is to build the game and give it to all of you. This has been a fun adventure so far for me and I hope to share the rewards of my efforts to you all when this game is launched in early 2013.
