9 Hours Till We Say Farewell to Kickstarter!

With less than 9 hours to go, and due to your overwhelming support, we'd like to share a surprise area we are working on for Zombie Playground: the Treehouse.  This is a player's personal 'estate' which includes areas for dressing characters, equipping characters, setting up load-outs, practicing with chosen weapons, and a computer for looking through online stores and data. The plan is also to allow you to decorate this area with acquired items to your liking.  While the Treehouse is currently taking a back seat to actual gameplay, and is something we were keeping under wraps for a later reveal, we figured you would enjoy (and deserve) this preview!

Treehouse sketch, this is early work and all subject to change.                     You can discuss this image here:  http://www.zombieplaygroundgame.com/forum/discussion/128/zpg-bonus-artwork-treehouse-sketch

Is this still active? No updates from the team since it was successfully funded..

My. Gosh. You guys KEEP making this sound cooler and freaking cooler with every update. A treehouse as the home base?! And being able to deck it out with stuff?! Agh! You guys are making me hope that the Zombie Apocalypse WON'T happen now.

Whenever I think about zombie apocalypse, I always think of an underground bunker with a trap door, and several exits. That way, when you hop inside, you close the door, and the zombies (stupidly) just walk over the top of it searching for you. :D

@NeonSaxon I'm still trying to figure out why they don't think to wear suits of armor. Oh, right. Then there would be no movie!

I will now forever wonder why no one builds to the trees in zombie movies.

@Thechosen: Well you dont have this from me. But from what I heard you need to first finish this game before you can actually start it... but dont quote me on that.

I'm getting tired of the "new innovative" menu's they create where its hard to quickly just select/do something (Dirt 2) or you have do drive around the map or such to do something.

Love the idea. Would be great if the menu is incorporated into the tree house. I get tired of the same old "Play" "Options" "Credits" menus.

Super, super neat! This is the kind of thing that I appreciate massively, and keeps me coming back to indie studios. Cosy! :D
