Ok, now that we definitely have your attention, on to the serious stuff;
"What Is My Pledge Going Towards?"
Great question! Your pledge will go towards CleanEats obtaining a 100% Paleo Kitchen and Hub based in San Francisco.
We have been using a shared space here in SF for the last several months providing a modest customer base our Paleo Lunchbox Service, Grain Free Granolas [Signature and Bacon Blend, Yes, we said Bacon Blend] and Cashew Nommus. We've actually had to turn away business because we don't have the kitchen space or scalability available to us to make this happen.
We’ve begun searching for our new kitchen and have found several potential spaces, but we need your help to make our passion project grow and fulfill its very real and exciting potential. #RallyTeamPaleo!
Our goal is to have a large 100% Paleo commercial kitchen, which will be San Francisco’s very first Paleo food hub. During our initial hunt for kitchen space, we found ZERO totally grain free kitchens, that didn’t possess at least some risk of gluten cross-contamination. Not surprising, but an absolute must have for someone like Mary with Celiac disease or other allergies that dictate every single thing they can eat.
"What Do You Mean By Paleo Hub?"
The CleanEats Kitchen will be a place where we can expand our own LunchBox and Granola reach but also be available to the Paleo Community for Workshops, Paleo Pop Ups [We've been looking at spaces with extra room for private dining] and a playground for other like-minded entrepreneurs to make their own primal dreams a reality.
"What Are You Doing About Accountability?"
Your investment will not go without consistent email and video updates of our progress. We will be completely transparent in our journey filling you in on everything during our campaign, after funding and of course after launch! We've already been sharing photos of kitchen spaces we've been touring. We mean business!
"How Does Kickstarter Work?"
Here's the Kick-Catch. This is an all or nothing campaign – if we don't hit at least $100,000, we get nothing. So even if you can't contribute yourself but want to see this project come to life be sure to share this campaign with everyone you know that would support such a Paleo effort!
"What If You Aren't Successfully Funded On Kickstarter?"
Well, that would suck. Really suck. However, we would just dust off the dirt and keep hustling toward our CleanEats Kitchen goal. It might take a bit longer than we'd like but the only thing that could stop us is a pterodactyl attack from space. Just kidding, that wouldn’t even faze us! Stupid pterodactyl – has no idea who they’re dealing with.
"Where Can We Find You Outside Of Kickstart?"

CleanEats Food Photography, Warning: Consumption of the below items may cause extreme bouts of awesomeness, a satisfied full feeling and an improved outlook on the rest of your life. But seriously, everything we put into our food is gluten, dairy, and soy free food fit for a caveman - Paleo-Tastic!
Risks and challenges
We're very passionate about CleanEats, but that's not to say we haven't done our due diligence from a business perspective on the costs, market, product demand and growth trajectory. We both come from business backgrounds (finance and tech), so we know our way around a revenue model and SWOT analysis. Don't worry - we also know our way around a lamb shank! We've done our homework, and believe CleanEats is an extremely viable opportunity.
One challenge we may encounter is the amount of time it will take to find the perfect kitchen with extra space to host workshops and other events. We have already begun the search process, but we can't control the real estate market.
If we can't find a kitchen and the current growth pace continues, we will simply arrange double and triple shifts within our current shared space to meet as much of the demand as possible. Post-funding, we will engage a real estate broker to have more dedicated kitchen search resources.
One other challenge we may encounter would be scaling our operations and business partnerships to match demand. We have built a financial model that takes into account significant growth rates, and will be sharing that data with our distribution partners in order to ensure that they can meet our current and future demand. We are forging partnerships with local farms and food suppliers prior to funding to make sure we're ready to be up and running at full capacity as soon as possible.
What it really comes down to is that we refuse to lose. We are very passionate about this project and will do whatever it takes to make it a reality. No zombie apocalypse or pterodactyl attack is going to stop this train a'comin.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
