Congratulations! Glad it worked out.
Thanks for the support!
Excellent question, I'm surprised it hasn't been asked yet. I've looked into this a lot, but haven't made a final decision. To some extent, the decision will be dictated by the final product - Amazon/Kindle has a space with really fair profit-sharing, but you need to get accepted to it. I'm also looking into distributors like LuLu and Blurb, that sort of thing. The one thing that I am certain of is that I want it for sale via Amazon/Kindle, and I want it to be really affordable , between .99-$3.99.
Yes there will be illustrations, though I'm not sure how much. It is my long-term goal to have a specific illustrator-friend do the full series, but that is long off, and this Kickstarter can't afford to back that. For this production, I think that I will do a few new spot-illustrations, and have many references to the artwork that I've already made so much of: the Automatons, Puppet Portraits, White Book, and the other stuff I mentioned.
There will probably be a sub-website within Martystuff.com dedicated to it, initially.
Hi Marty - I was wondering what your plans are for publishing and marketing the e-book.
Are you hoping to go through Amazon's createspace or maybe bookbaby? Are you planning to have pictures inside? Creating a website for it?
