A thriller about a U.N. weapons inspector who uncovers the world's deadliest arms ring and hunts down its shadowy creator.
"There are worse things than a weapon of mass destruction."
BREAKOUT centers on Adam Etoinevic, a chief inspector with the U.N. International Peace Overseer's Office. Adam was born in the fictional European country of Alsitiania, which suffered under a mad dictator's oppressive heel for decades. Adam escaped the regime's authoritarian rule when he was a boy, only to return after the international community deposed the tyrant. He has now served in his homeland longer than any other investigator. When Adam and legions of other inspectors first arrived in the country they unearthed troves of deadly weapons; today the few remaining investigators are subjected to one wild goose chase after another.
The first issue follows Adam and his crew as they go about their work. Adam romances Sara, the team technologist, who wonders if their relationship can last back home. Another day brings the crew to a family farm where one of Adam's colleagues has a hunch that proves fatal. In the aftermath, Adam uncovers a secret laboratory full of regime propaganda and bizarre technology.
BREAKOUT tells Adam's story as he uncovers the world's deadliest black market proliferation ring and chases after its mysterious mastermind. The four-issue series imagines the terrifying impact an illicit program capable of transforming ordinary people into weapons of mass destruction would have on our world.

We aim to raise $6,000 to complete production and publish four quarterly issues. Our team boasts creators from all over the world, including the United States, the Philippines, Canada and Turkey. We have all come together to produce this work, but we know there will hiccups along the way, particularly with delivery coordination.
The first issue is already completed! The second issue awaits coloring and lettering before it too is in the bag. Production of the third issue would begin upon successful completion of the campaign. Oh, and did we mention the entire series has already been written?
Anything raised beyond the goal amount would go toward collecting the series in trade paperback form that we would then sell and distribute at comic book conventions.
Lastly, the series is intended for mature readers due to adult situations and depictions of violence.
