Over the past several years, the Iconocast has interviewed 40 people over the course of 43 episodes. We don’t always interview Christians or anarchists. Rather, we interview those who we believe have some wisdom to share for those who are exploring the intersection of Christianity and anarchism.
We'd like to record a new season of at least 10 new episodes. We've already started lining things up with Noam Chomsky, Carol Adams, Vincent Harding, Anthony Nocella, and the folks at Rolling Jubilee.
The Iconocast cost about $225/episode. We have a number of co-hosts (including the occasional guest host), a couple producers, and a sound engineer. Each episode requires a minimum of ten hours a week in-studio, recording, editing, and engineering. This doesn’t include any of the time involved setting up or preparing for interviews. Since each episode of the Iconocast involves multiple hosts often in different locations (as well as guests who are often on the other side of the country), recording and editing offers unique challenges. But we’re proud of our work.
If we raise our goal of $2200, we'll record at least ten new episodes. For every $225 we go beyond our goal, we'll record another episode.

Risks and challenges
We've already secured half of our would-be interviewees. However, sometimes folks back out. We can't guarantee that we'll interview the folks we've mentioned.
Also, technical difficulties have gotten in the way of at least two interviews in the past. However, we've learned to anticipate most problems that could come our way.
Regardless of setbacks, we'll have 10 new episodes coming out within 2013--probably more.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
