Dear friends,

Our project is now 180% funded. Thank you so much! We are humbled beyond belief.

But let's not stop here.

After working with our craftsmen for three years we learned that it’s not enough to work with them on adhoc basis. To actually speed up things for ourselves and help make their lives better, we will have to own the process—end to end. About six months ago, we embarked on this journey and started employing craftsmen full time.

It started with Dilawar who joined our team 6 months back to work on shoes. Upon asking, which product he would like to make in Markhor. He told us how much he loves his MacBook and he would like to make high quality accessories for it. Over the next few months, we employed two more craftsmen and deployed the machines necessary. Due to the nature of shoes it wasn't possible for us to setup a shoe manufacturing unit. But we thought to ourselves that we can start small. These Sleeves and Mac Pads came after months of thinking and development. They are a small step for a much bigger mission.

The more money we raise the better we will be able to setup a workshop and employ our craftsmen. For now we are aiming to raise $50K to buy few more machines and employ around 4-5 more craftsmen. The craftsmen will be working with us full time and will get all the benefits that rest of Markhor team does.

We know this is an ambitious goal. But we also know that with the support of our community we can pull this off. Please share this with your family and friends. We all are in this together. Let’s do it.

Thanks again.

With Love,

—Team Markhor
