WHAT ARE NUMERICONS?
Numericons started out simply as a graphic design exercise for me. I wanted to create a series of related numerical designs and began with shapes (negative space). Well, I like that original poster so much that one set turned into 2 sets, turned into 3 sets, and on and on until I will soon have 10 sets of 100 tiles each!
Now I want to see what you can do with these designs! Let your creativity go nuts. You have the opportunity to choose from any or all of the original sets plus an ALL NEW One to One Hundred "Arcs" set. That's 10 total sets and ONE THOUSAND original and unique designs to inspire your next project! Each Numericons set will be a single page file with 100 tiles, provided to you in .AI and .EPS vector formats.
THANK YOU for taking the time to look at my project and I hope you'll support it! The sets you can choose from include...
- Isosceles Triangles
- Zig Zags
- Arcs (Soon to be completed)
WHAT CAN I DO WITH THEM?
These are great but what would I make with them you ask? So many things! The following are just a sampling of possibilities!
WHAT'S INCLUDED WITH A STANDARD LICENSE?
With a Standard License you get a single user permission to use any of the designs or design elements in personal and commercial projects. Logos, Laser Cutting, Fabric Patterns, packaging. You are also free to duplicate and back-up files in case of catastrophe.
The ONLY thing you CAN'T do is redistribute the sets for free or sale. Meaning, don't go out and make your own 100 vector sets or posters using this art, let's all be cool. Other than that, go nuts! Can't wait to see what everyone creates!
If you have any questions at all, please ask!!! I'll be happy to answer.
WHAT ARE GO CARDS?
While Go Cards specifically use the designs from 1 to 100, it does follow the simple numeric design concept. Go Cards are my graphic interpretation of a standard deck of playing cards and they can be used to play ANY card game you could use a normal deck with. Or they're also great to create your own games with.
- Each 52 card deck consists of 4 "suits", Black, Blue, Green, and Red.
- Each suit includes numbers 1-13 (as opposed to 2-Ace in a regular deck).
- The deck is based on a particular graphic element (In this case, Squares).
- Each number for each suit is a unique design (resulting in 52 unique designs in the deck).
Risks and challenges
A lot of the digital work is already completed. I'll been working with a company in Michigan to produce card decks and will be relying on them as well for delivery of the decks (one of the reasons I'm limiting delivery to the US). I always strive to fulfill my campaigns 100% and this one will be no exception. Thank you!!!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
