New Product! New Reward! Introducing the Hip Pack Pouch (Pair)

Happy Friday! It has now been two action-packed weeks since we launched this project, and we just can't stop dreaming-up new stuff for you. We're having too much fun here at Rickshaw!

The other day, one of our backers sent a note to me about using her new Hip Pouch for walking her dog. That got me thinking about combining the Utility Pouch with the Hip Pack. I was all excited to try it when I got to work. Drat! The Utility Pouch doesn’t fit in the Hip Pack. What to do? We could make the Hip Pack bigger, but it would be too big. Or, we could make a smaller pouch, custom-tailored to the Hip Pack. We quickly made a few prototypes, and behold, the “Pooch Pouch” for dog walkers was born!

For now, we're calling it the Hip Pack Pouch (though it's a tongue-twister). The zipper top provides added security for any valuables in your Hip Pack — and it's equally useful in any other bag. While the Utility Pouch is flat, the Hip Pack Pouch has a boxed bottom that allows it to stand-up straight on any flat surface, making it a perfect case for cosmetics, electronic accessories, dog-walking paraphernalia and personal miscellany. The Hip Pack Pouch features two layers of Made In USA Cordura® nylon, bound interior seams, beefy YKK zippers, and our "Special K" Kickstarter commemorative labels.

NEW REWARD: Just for this project, we're offering a pair of "Special K" Hip Pack Pouches — one neon green, one black — for the special Kickstarter pledge value of $20 (retail value $30).

Please Note: The Hip Pack Pouch fits perfectly in the Hip Pack, and works beautifully with larger bags. It does NOT fit in our Mini Messenger.

Here's a video and a few photos. Enjoy!
