Alessio Cavatore: Author of Kings of War
In the last thirteen years, Origins awards winner Alessio Cavatore has written or co-written the current rules sections of the rulebooks of all of Games Workshop’s widely known miniatures game systems, not to mention a plethora of expansions and other type of supplements and support material for these systems that is way too long to list here.
He has recently co-founded River Horse Games to publish his own games and to collaborate with other well-known publishers in the gaming industry. He is the author behind the core Kings of War rules and army lists.
Jake Thornton: Author, Advanced Rule for Kings of War
Jake Thornton is a veteran game designer and writer who has been working in the games industry since the mid '80s. He has worked on dozens of board and tabletop games including Warhammer (rules, High Elves and Orcs & Goblins), though many of you will know him best as Editor of White Dwarf magazine. Recently he designed Mantic's Project Pandora as well as the Greek mythology game Tribes of Legend and the sell-out Dwarf King's Hold series.
Mantic Games also collaborates with a wide range of talent in the industry including Mike McVey, Guy Haley and many others.
