Have a question?
Hi Tyler- that's definitely not right. If you could message me directly and confirm your current address, I'll have replacements sent your way.
For those wanting spares, Ben placed the remaining Blu spares of Monstrosity (1963) on Amazon.
Has anyone else not gotten their Blu Ray, poster, or pin yet? Because it's been like almost three months and I've got nothing besides the digital download.
Got my pin and poster today. Looking at the tracking number I'm baffled at how it could take a month to get from TN to VA, but it showed up intact.
Seconded Paul. Thanks for the link.
RIP Bradford Dillman. You brought great insight into the making of The Atomic Brain.
Nicolaj- message me with your current address to confirm it and I'll send you a replacement.
I still haven't received my pin, if it was sent out over Christmas then it might have been my postal service losing it. It happened with another package at least.
Hey Jeffrey- every time mass emails are employed for deliverables, there's always a risk of them accidentally falling into your spam folder. When I send out the links for "Hamlet", you'll get another chance to download "Atomic Brain", and I'll make an announcement beforehand so you can be ready.
I haven't gotten the Atomic Brain download link... Have those gone out and I just missed it?
Still haven't gotten my poster and pin. At least 4 months since I got my bluray.
Haven't gotten an email pertaining either to the downloads of Monstrosity or what I'm really curious about - Hamlet. Thanks again.
Replacements for missing pins and posters are now going out. If you haven't gotten a message from me to that effect by now, let me know so I don't miss anyone.
I still haven't gotten my pin and poster. Messaged two weeks ago and haven't heard back.
I might have missed the mail or message with a download link. Is there any way to get the download?
Hi Ben...still haven't received the download linked e-mail. Thanks!
Thank you, Ben. Despite delays and such, you came through, and I for one am grateful and very happy. I wish I could say the same for a certain CREEP-y film and their campaign of a few years ago, but the next time you have one of these, I'll double my amount to your campaign...gladly!
I have received everything (in Singapore) and it's all in good working order - really appreciate the effort you made with this project, look forward to others in the future!
Sorry, I meant haven't had the download link.
Hello, I received the poster and pin about a month ago but haven't had the dvd. How long should I wait?
How about giving backers who paid for it the download link? Thanks!
Got my Blu-ray a while back but still no pin or poster and no news on the downloads. What gives?
Is there any info on the download?
Errol- a replacement was sent, but I forgot to confirm it with you. Let me know when you get it!
My BluRay arrived cracked. I’ve sent you a PM regarding this. Anything y’all can do to help?
Just got my pin today. I'm actually shocked at how cool it looks, so good job there. I'm glad this project made it through and is coming to fruition.
I too am wondering about the downloadable version, and to be honest, even more-so the digital version of Hamlet. Any word on that?
Hello, just received my DVD/Pin/Poster-all look great. Awaiting delivery of my DVD player before I watch!
What is the status of Hamlet? Honestly, I backed just to get a copy of that version of Hamlet (as it will complete my MST3k Original Series movie collection). What is the anticipated timeline for its availability. Thank you, hope I don't sound too much like a nag.
I just received my pin today. Are there any updates on the downloadable 1080p version? It looks like most updates have centered around the blu-ray release.
Ohio here, still awaiting poster/ pin. Looks like others have arrived so hopefully we'll see them soon out here :)
Poster and pin arrived! Already snagged a frame for it to get the poster up next to the Manos one.
Got my poster and pin, which along with the Blu-ray, are terrific! Awaiting the download info. :)
^Grammar, like Yoda, is.
@Bruce et al - I'm thinking that even though the feature itself is relatively short, having both the open matte as well as formatted versions on one disc might have played a part, as well as the delays, cost overruns, etc. It's a 25GB single-sider and the open-matte version is already a bit more compressed than the feature is with the preferred formatting. Bit-rate is fine for the main feature, giving relatively how little motion is in-frame there is, Adding the documentary would probably start to cut into that, though.
Got my physical goodies - BooBooRay, USB stick and poster.:)
Is the 'Hamlet' download still in the works? If you're stumped for options, quite a few KSers distribute content through VHX, using download codes.
Got the poster and pin
Received the Blu-ray last week. Have not received the pin, poster, and download.
The Blu and the thumb drive did finally arrive.
Just want to say (having watched and enjoyed) my received Blu-ray of MONSTROSITY, that I'm happy to have finally found and experienced an HONEST crowdfunding campaign, having been scammed 3 times in the past few years by indie filmmakers. So another *THANK YOU* to Ben, for coming through with such a superb job of restoring MONSTROSITY/THE ATOMIC BRAIN!
Got my BR and other stuff in the mail today!
@Ben. A possible swap or switch? Having listened to the Weaver track, it is a treat and well above the norm of commentaries. I learned more about Monstrosity (1963) than I ever wanted to know. The bits on the Psycho (1960) 'connection' and cinematographer John L. Russell are a must for enthusiasts of the period. Not to mention Marjorie Eaton and her Palpatine Connection.

I wonder about that documentary as well. Not that it was a make or break deal for me when backing this project, but it certainly sounded intriguing!
Then again when this was first announced, we didn't know that there would be the great commentary track from Tom Weaver added on later. Perhaps the Weaver track superseded the documentary?
And while no poster or pin has arrived yet, my BD-R has and it looks great to me.
I received my Blu-ray disc but haven't seen anything around the digital download. When will that be available?
@Michael. Ought he have told us? Yes. Ben is an action over words kind of guy. I've noticed this over the years. He'll finish what he's doing. Then he'll respond. It's who he is. That isn't bad as long as the product speaks for him. Which it does. In spades.
"I am curious why there was no documentary on the director as was 'promised' ... maybe there's an answer in an earlier update"
@ Michael. I wondered that too. Earlier updates spoke of production delays, problems that nearly sidelined production, switching following coding work with one manufacturer to another, reducing documentary extras to accommodate the film's hiccups. I'll speculate the 5 C's doc became another casualty of prioritizing the film over supplements in not unduly delaying this project any further. It's a guess but a pretty good one.
"Still waiting on discs. Why have people received copies from Amazon before backers received theirs?"
Not that many people. 3 Blu-Rays were sold to test Amazon and the DVDs you'd have to ask Ben. Same reason I imagine. As to the number I don't know. The Blus and backer merch are arriving and what's remaining post-fulfillment should appear on Amazon in time. We haven't been cheated. Panic is natural. Let's just not lose our heads as well. Having examined my stuff, I'm to the moon and back over the results. And most of you should be too.
@Jason. The pin and poster are packaged together in a tube. The pin is located on one of the ends of the tube. It's right on top if you pop open the right end. A black cat pin off the poster art is what to look for.
Any issues with DVDs?
I was able to get my bluray working ...
I am curious why there was no documentary on the director as was 'promised' ... maybe there's an answer in an earlier update
Received my 'Monstrosity' blu ray here in Ohio-- still waiting on the pin and poster :) I'm assuming the poster arrived rolled in a tube (w/ pin)-- can anyone confirm?
Need to check email for the download.
