VIDEO: I tell the Lord Captain that we have our first backer!

Hi friends! Thanks for joining us for this ride on a giant hippopotamus that is the newest Wondermark collection. I clicked the "go live" button last night and woke up to see all you eager backers! Hooray!

Before I counted the full number of backers, I had already placed a call to Lord Captain Sir Von Wonder to relay the exciting news.

Here is video of me letting him know that we had our very first backer! Of course we are well past that point in reality... But I wanted to break the news to him easy, since he's not one who takes shocks well.

@Clint – HE prefers Lord Captain Sir Von Wonder, Jr., Esq. But when have we ever bowed to the whims of the monarchs? Not in THIS country, buster!!!

His surname is Von Wonder. I guess he's...German? Or the equivalent.

What is the preferred form of the brief appellation this gentleman:
      • Lord
      • His Lordship
      • My Sweet Lord
      • Captain
      • Cap'n
      • Oh Captain! My Captain
      • Sir
      • Sire
      • Van Wonder Dude
      • His Dudeship

And, importantly, is Van part of his last name or, like my uncle, his middle name, causing no end identification hijinks?

      Curious minds…,
      Clint
