      ooooooohohohohohohohoho nooooo :-P The steam version has over 60 achievements, and there will be MANY more coming.

      I have a MASSIVE update planned for on here once the build goes live which will explain everything in detail :) given how big a deal it is for us to get up on Steam I've been a bit of a hermit lately while I get everything prepared. This new update that's going out is the biggest, most content-filled update in the game's history! It's super exciting!

      Absolutely! We've already got arrangements with Desura, GamersGate Europe and a new platform called ShinyLoot to sell it. As for Humble, we're going to wait until 1.0 is well established first, and GoG we're not sure if they'll let us on there just yet, but we haven't ruled it out :) If people end up preferring a key for one of the alternate platforms we'll be giving those out instead :)

      Hi Crosmando! We're in the wind-down stages of the beta now, with only a couple of things left to add, and a little bit of spit-shine to finish up. We'll be putting out a new 1.0 build once it's all ready, so you'll get a DRM-free version of that, yes, but we'll ALSO be giving you a Steam key if you want one :) everyone who got the game in this Kickstarter will be offered one (we know that some people don't use Steam, so we're going to just message everyone to see if they want one first)

      Hi Frank! The final version is getting quite close! We're in the final stages of polishing off the last few features before we get 1.0 out there, which we're aiming to do by the end of the year. Several of the team have finished their work on the main game and have started work on the expansion pack.

      The closeness to finish is actually the main reason I've been so quiet with updates on here. Pretty much all of my spare time has just been spent head-down-bum-up working to push this out to you guys and girls! Been living off very little sleep haha but the game is coming along really great.

      I totally understand your wanting to wait for version 1.0 - sounds perfectly normal to me. The only reason I put it out as open beta in the first place because the Kickstarter going so well meant that the scope of the game expanded drastically, which meant a heap of extra work for me and my team. However, I didn't want that extra work to mean that people had to wait longer to start playing, so I moved the game to open beta to allow them to sink their teeth in sooner.

      You won't have too long to wait, though! It's coming along great, and if it's not the end of the year, it won't be much longer past that. We're super close!

      Download the special kickstarter launcher that was linked in update #87 . I would link to it from here, but this circumnavigates the copy protection and therefore it should never be shared publicly.

      Hi Justin! It's close! This Friday (maybe Sunday if things get in the way) we're releasing a major public update to the beta that will add in about 40% of what's left in the game, the update after that will add the next 40% and then the final update before 1.0 will add in the rest. After 1.0 we'll still be doing updates for bug fixes, optimization and whatnot, since you can never add too much polish ;-)

      Almost all of what's left is actually in the game now, behind the scenes, just not 100% finished, so there's very little in there which hasn't even been started yet. A couple of things that are left are things that have had their direction changed since going live with the beta (the Quest system, for example) where the community showed us that they could be done better.

      Once 1.0 goes live, we'll also be adding in more online functionality as people have been starting their own leagues on the forum, so we want to help people interact with each other more in the game if they want to. It's an exciting time, and after working on this for so long, it's very exciting to see it finally wrapping up!

      So where is this game in development? Saw it on steam greenlight, and definatly voted to have it brought onto steam, and haven't seen anything since mid april. Is there a projected release date? Looks awesome so far and from what I was able to run will be a lot of fun.

      Keep at it! Find those loot containers in the countryside. My favourite place to look are the burial urns in graveyards! Always some good stuff in there to sell!

      When I looked back up at the clock two hours had passed and all I was doing was running around the overworld. So much fun :). I do wish I could find more gold lying around though. I wanted to buy something but my whopping 13g did not a sword make.

      Uhm, maybe I should click even more on the ground :-):
      The purple gem is for dangerous objects. If you're in a dungeon, it means there is a trap nearby. Start clicking on the ground in front of you before stepping into a square, lest you get caught in the trap's clutches! In the countryside, it means there is some sort of evil lair nearby.

      Uh, I've got my first quest and this dungeon I die constantly because of traps, which give me instant deaths :-(. Any suggestions?

      I've found and claimed 2 cities, and 2 tower with no entrance. 2-3 hours of play and I've yet to find a dungeon :(

      The game will run in 1440x900 or in 1024x768 to support 16:9 monitors and 4:3. I personally run it on an HD monitor and it looks great :)

      And yes! The arachnophobia setting is still being implemented :D

      Apologies if this has been asked before, but I'd like to be sure. Will the game properly support all resolutions up to at least 1920x1080? While I'm not much a stickler for top tier graphics, having to run the game at a lower resolution than my desktop resolution would be quite disappointing.

      Also, did you ever get around to implementing that Arachnophobia option we discussed months ago? :)
