Is Expansion pack 1 something that is included in KS shipment, or do we have to buy at BGG store?
I think it's int he box Lisa, but i"m not sure.
Well, I did not even receive an email from HappyShops yet..
I received my copy in Alabama but the cobalt and neutronium tokens are missing.
I've never seen a delivery as wrecked as Jason's. That's rough!
Expansion Pack #1 will be available at the BGGstore, it is not included with every KS package as it includes Stretch Goal content that we did not unlock
Hope I get mine tonight!
So that means if we buy the EP #1 we're gonna end up getting stuff we got as SG and then pay for it again?
Expansion is not from the goals we unlocked from how I'm understanding it. It's new stuff that we did not unlock.
Re: Jason J.'s package… Wow, that's just… wow. I would demand that the carrier reimburse me for that crap. There's no excuse for that.
It appears that Expansion Pack 1 was printed at the same time as the base game, even though it was not "unlocked" as a stretch goal. And the KS base game is the same as retail (which is available now online for preorder at $36.99 and the usual no extra for shipping as part of a larger order). Compared to the U.S. KS price+shipping of $44 for the exact same product, it is kind of disappointing for us. Including the 10 exp. cards that already got printed (instead of requiring more $ at BGG store) would have helped. I know that this is a KS risk and will be more careful in the future I guess.
Can you please link me to where there is an online preorder for $36.99? That is not an authorized long-term price for this product.
The Expansion packs were produced at the same time as the base game, but they were funded out of my own pocket since we missed the stretch goals to produce them as an inclusion to the base game. I am sorry you feel that way but I was upfront about them in every phase of this process, I do not understand what I could have done to be clearer about the situation in the history of updates in which I wrote about them.
I did also not receive anything from Happy Shops. No mail no shipping.
I'm a bit confused about the expansion. Mini expansion was unlocked very early on and the only locked stretch goals were more corporate cards, spot uv on the box and the enlarged board which you very kindly unlocked anyway.
It's OK as I will be happy with the game as it is but would like some clarity
Quite often I find KS items that I helped by pledging support at a much discounted price at some of the big online game stores. I see it as part of the risk of being involved in KS. Overall, it is a positive and fun experience.
The Amazon thing is funny (as in weird). It's happened to one of my books too.
The Mini expansion that was unlocked during the campaign was the Neutronium Crisis co-op scenario and the components to go with it. That, and Expansion pack #1 are two different things
We there's also this for $34 http://www.miniaturemarket.com/hpsmmg001.html (fourth in the list in a quick google search)
Still a bit unsure about the expansions. Mini expansion #1 was unlocked at $29,500 and mini expansion #2 was unlocked at $36K. So it would be reasonable to expect both mini expansions in the game when I get it and open it up.
Still can not find a stretch goal saying expansion #1 (expansion not mini expansion0
Don't get me wrong. I did not expect a full blown expansion and from what I can tell from the unboxing video I am getting value for money.
So this expansion that we can purchase is different from both mini - expansions?
Sorry to be pedantic
Expansion pack 1 was first mentioned in update #27. I would be happy to pick one up later on BGG store
Thanks MigF that answers my question. I had forgotten that update
Hi, I've not had any message at all regarding delivery. Cheers
I have your order on record, can you please send me a direct message with your current email address? It could be that the emails just aren't getting to you but the order was sent properly.
I feel like I have confused everybody and I apologize for that.
The Mini-Expansion included in every copy of the game, which was an unlocked stretch goal, was for the solo/co-op variant "Neutronium Crisis" and all the bits required for that.
This Expansion Pack #1 is ten extra cards, offered via the BGGstore. It included content that we created and tested but did not achieve the stretch goals to unlock. Rather than waste the effort, we invested a little extra out of our own pockets to have those cards made into a separate pack so we could offer them at the BGG Store and as prizes at conventions and such.
I hope this clears things up :)
Package arrived in Luxembourg yesterday, thanks. Now to get it to the table #somanygamessolittletime :D
Got my package in CO earlier this week. No damage and the game looks great. Can't wait to play.
Expansion Pack #1 is live on BGG Store.
I've just now had an email from Happyshops, saying "Your order with number [XYZ] was just packed in our warehouse and will be shipped as soon as possible."
