ANOTHER UPDATE. Artwork, Layout, and Cauldrons

It has been far too long and for that, I must apologize!

This is a quick update to let you know that:

All the artwork is done!

Layout is 99% complete. Just finalizing the rulebook layout and the box layout.

About the Cauldrons

The biggest hold up for the game has been an issue with sourcing the plastic cauldrons.

I wanted to provide some specially designed cauldrons for the game but I couldn't get the cost of the die setup below around $3000. On a 1000 print run that increases the average cost of the game $3 a piece. That would really obliterate the razor thin margins with this game so I was forced to accept a less than perfect option of working with a slightly smaller (approximately 8mm smaller ( ~ 5/16ths of an inch for we Americans).

I really agonized over this decision but am going forward with the slightly smaller cauldrons. If we luck out and find a way to improve this, I will let you know.

OK, back to work.

And now, another card preview (this time, from the Coven Role Deck):

This one is one of the Coven Role Model Backer Level cards (where you could appear on the card).

Brian, I will investigate the velvet bag idea. If I were to include them, they would be in addition to the cauldrons to give players the option. I will investigate the costs.

Hi, haven't seen any updates recently. Anything new going on? Also, regarding your plastic cauldron issue, what about velvet bags with a cauldron printed on them. I know I had some feedback for you at GenCon about the size of those cauldrons for people with bigger hands/ thicker fingers. A bag would help solve those issues, and would likely cost less than sourcing out specially made cauldrons. Just a thought.
