ALL STRETCH GOALS UNLOCKED!
MAGE Company is excited to bring you Aether Captains!
Aether Captains is a steampunk-themed, scenario-based, asymmetric board game for 1-5 players created by Todd Sanders and published by Ninja Division Publishing.
(Do note that a 6th player can take place in the game when the Navy Commander plays against 3 or 4 War-Captains)
One player commands the mighty naval zeppelins of the Grand Compact: Dauntless and Dominion. As Commander, you have been tasked by the Emperor to defend the Grand Compact and Arkady from the merciless sky pirates. With your staunch crew of steam welders, engineers, navigators and gunners, you fly with honor to confront the pirates threatening Arkady.
The remaining players command waves of attacking sky pirates, each with their own unique objectives which may pit them against any player, especially if it means greater profit for themselves. Infamous and feared, War Captains are cutthroat and cunning. As a War Captain, you swear to never rest until you control the skies and the Grand Compact falls!

Game Designer: Todd Sanders .
Todd Sanders lives in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where he works as a graphic designer and furniture maker. Board game design is increasingly a fun and engaging creative venture of his, and he has no complaints! Artistic and trained in architecture and the design aspects associated with such an education, he is well known in the board game community for various print and play style games.
The Print and Play (PnP) version of Aether Captains from 2010 was one of the first major games he designed. The original game used dice to form sections of steampunk zeppelin ships, rather than ship miniatures and ship-cards. Other game dice became attacking pirate ships, and the solo player would fight in battle scenarios against them. This game led to a number of others in the Aether Captains world, eventually leading to the creation of Arkady, the Empire, the sky pirates and the battle for supremacy of the skies.
Years ago, MAGE Company approached Todd about publishing the game. He was then tasked with expanding the original concept into a multiplayer game. From the initial PnP, the game now operates on both a macro-level where players view with one another for control of resources and cities; and a micro-level where they command ships of either the AetherNavy or the Air Pirates and engage each other in combat.
In addition to the multiplayer rules, Todd has designed a series of new ships and scenarios for the game. He hopes both those familiar with Aether Captains and new players will enjoy this refreshing take on his classic game!

Risks and challenges
Even though we do our best to ensure a quality product and a fast production, there is always the risk of delays. Supplier shortage, holidays, and weather conditions are just a few of the reasons a production could be delayed. MAGE Company should not be held responsible for delays caused by third parties.
We can refund you for a period up to 30 days after the end of the campaign.
If you find out that there are items missing after you receive your order, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will send you the missing items as soon as possible.
Our current estimation for delivery is October 2016. We hope to deliver this project earlier, possibly in September. History has shown, however, that no matter how well you plan things, there is always a chance of delays.
If a package is not delivered due to a backers fault (wrong address given, backer did not claim the delivered package from their post office, etc.), the backer may be requested to pay additional shipping fees for the item to be sent out again.
Thank you very much,
