When I was twelve I was prophesied over and told that I shouldn't hide my writing as it could help a lot of people. I had only been writing for a little over a year and I hadn't told anyone about it. It wasn't until I was twenty-five did I begin to take that prophecy seriously and write professionally. I published my first book called, Uncivil Unity and while it did well to be self published it fell short in some areas. I've learned from those mistakes and I'm correcting them. I'm raising funds for a professional editor and professional artist to create my book cover.
Four lives and one soul. Immemorial Lives explores astral projection and reincarnation to answer the ultimate question. What is the meaning of life?
Being a part of a sub-genre I call urban sci-fi Immemorial Lives helps with with representation in the science-fiction world. Far to often growing up I didn't read anything that had characters that looked like me in it. Now I'm taking that issue head on and creating my own. The main character's name is Cyrus. He is a black man and he went from being a latchkey kid in the hood to an important member of a large company. Although he has learned and grew so much through his rough upbringing he still has much to learn about the world and he will do it through astral projection and reincarnation.
