MA Material Futures is a two year Master's course at Central Saint Martins dedicated to exploring the future through cross-disciplinary practice and expert engagement.
We will be participating in the 2017 Ventura Lambrate in order to promote our course and engage the public in important themes of sustainability, technology, ethics, and consumption.
Our Kickstarter aim is to deliver a diverse and impactful exhibition of all 26 projects at Ventura Lambrate 2017 and Central Saint Martins' Degree Show 2017.
ABOUT OUR PROJECTS
This year we've been investigating a diverse range of subjects including: geoengineering, entomophagy, space mining, virtual reality, future farming, and recycling the human body. Using design as our tool we endeavour to communicate discourse, raise debate around, and provide alternative scenarios to current world issues.
We believe in design's potential to unravel complex issues, understand the implications, and to deliver this to a wider audience through engaging narratives. We are passionate about our discoveries and would like to share them with you.
