Welcome to Atom City is a kickstarter campaign featuring two sets of terrain in the Atompunk style and era.
Everything you see here is scalable for 28mm-32mm games. Each STL file comes in many different pieces and is designed to minimize supports when printing on your 3d home printer.
This set of files contains the Bus Station building and the Bus, as well as all the furniture shown in this section. It also gives access to the Common Furniture set of files and the Posters, Billboards and Wallpapers shown further.
The Bus comes in seperate pieces as to minimize the need for supports.
This set contains the Diner, the Commercial building (that can be turned into appartments, stores, offices or even a police station) as well as a Garage. It also contains all the furniture needed to do so as well as the Common Furniture and the Posters, Billboards and Wallpapers shown further.
Pledging on either the Bus Station, the Commercial District or the All-In levels give you access to these Common Furniture.
Print these hi-res JPEG files on paper, cut them and glue them to add details to your builds. All these and more come with all pledge levels.
The map shows the locations near Atom City. Each of these locations contain valuable tools, loot and buildings that would improve the settlers' lives drastically.
"With new desperate souls coming in every day, the need for more ressources increases. First we need to make sure we have enough money to buy what we need in Atom City. When we reach that amount, we can think of expanding our territory."
All in all, before we start unlocking Stretch Goals, we need to fund the Campaign. We will then explore the Sea of Dirt and claim new territories as well as material wealth, so your settlements grow in comfort and become beacons of hope.
The concept is quite simple: the Backers decide what is unlocked as the campaign goes.
"Atom City organizes parties to take control of the land around the base of operations. The locations are shown on the world map above. Old world money is still used as currency by the mercenaries of the wastes, the costs to set up each caravan being shown in the chart under the map."
Each location on the map has a Risk value associated with it, going from Low to Extreme Risk. The riskier the zone, the better the Guards' pay. When the amount needed is raised, the road to the location is secured and the guards clearing it are paid.
Example: The campaign is funded at $1500 and we now start securing the locations in the Low Risk Zone. One of them will be unlocked at $2500 ($1500 + $1000). A second one will be unlocked at $3500 and the third one at $4500.
It has been decided that all the locations in the Low Risk zone will need to be secured first, but when the Bingo! Drive-In, the Military Check Point and the Scrap Fortifications are safe, the choice will be yours.
A Survey will be submitted to the backers to determine the next Stretch Goal you want to unlock in the Medium Risk Zone.
When three (3) out of four (4) locations in the Medium Risk Zone are secured (at $1500 each), the choice will be yours to either finish securing the Medium Risk Zone or start unlocking the High Risk Zone.
Example: The Low Risk Zone is fully secured and we reached $4500. A survey has been sent and it has been decided that the APC is to be secured next. When $6000 is reached, it will be unlocked.
When four (4) out of six (6) locations in the High Risk Zone are secured (at $2000 each), the Extreme Risk Zone will be unlocked.
The Extreme Risk Zones will be unlocked at $3000 each.
Each new location has secret stashes of goods and everytime one is secured, one will be unveiled. They will mainly be small printable objects and accessories but could also be new wallpapers and posters to add even more details to your builds!
Did you miss the previous kickstarters and wish to add on those to your pledge?
No sweat! Have a look at the past projects by clicking on their respective images. Add $50 to your pledge for each set of files you want and you will be asked which one you want by email after the campaign is funded.
Pledging on this campaign gives you access to the STL files as they are released on a virtual drive. These will be available to the backers on the virtual drive when they are tested and ready.
The STL files are:
- For non-commercial use (Unless an agreement has been concluded between your business and M3Studios). You may not resell the files or sell the printed version of these files without a commercial license.
- Not to be shared, distributed or otherwise lent to someone else, unless given express consent by M3Studios' representative.
Please email us directly at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions regarding the terms and conditions, personal or commercial licence.
The terms and conditions are subject to change at any time by M3Studios.
Risks and challenges
The risks regarding this campaign are virtually inexistent. All the files but the Bus are ready and tested at the time of this writing. The studio is commited to deliver the stretch goal files in a timely fashion and we plan on hiring a second 3d modeler provided enough money is raised, as to be able to finish the project sooner.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
