Can you enter your 30s with no regrets?
Two best friends aim to find out, by completing an epic 30-before-30 bucket list in just one day.
Bungee is a sweet, action-packed comedy short about friendship, love, getting older and taking risks.
Who are you and why are you making it?
After becoming friends while debuting their solo comedy shows at the 2015 Edinburgh Festival, Rich and Lydia both wanted to write something together with heart, humour, and honesty that reflected their own experience of being 30ish.
A year and a bit later: Bungee.
Are you good, though?

Acting credits include: Twelfth Night (The Leicester Square Theatre), Sketchorama (Radio 4), Made for Each Other (BBC3 Short), and award-winning short film Forget Me Not. Watch his acting reel!

Lydia King (actor, writer, comedian, singer, thinks tea is okay) trained at the Oxford School of Drama and was a Funny Women 2015 semi-finalist. Acting credits include: Starlore for Beginners and Other Plays (Theatre 503), London Road (Bridewell Theatre), After the End, A Little Night Music, NSFW (Questors Theatre), Form 84B (Old Red Lion), Chicks (New Diorama). A sample soupçon of praise for Lydia: "Likeable, funny... a witty storyteller" - Chortle, "Lively, sharp and with just the right amount of sass" - Time Out, "[The emotional terrain] is beautifully handled by Lydia King" - Exeunt

A little selection of praise for Mike: "A masterfully approached slow-burner" - The Edge (for ‘Forget Me Not’), "With an inventive opening sequence setting a playful and quirky mood, ‘Cold Reader’ provides a joyous and cheerful viewing experience that is sure to lift your spirit" – UK Film Review

Why do you need my money?
Shockingly, despite the fact we’re actor/writer/comedians, we are not millionaires! This time next year etc etc but yeah, not yet. We are putting in a lot of our own money, but we simply can’t afford to make it alone.
We believe in this script, but don't want to make it unless it looks great. We can’t make it look great unless we have great design, great kit, and a great crew. All those things cost money.
Your money will pay for: Location, lights, sound and camera equipment hire, crew travel and basic catering expenses, props, costumes, makeup, set, insurance, and filming permits for public locations.
YOUR SUPPORT MEANS EVERYTHING TO US!
Because if we don’t make our target, we can’t make the film.
So, if you're able to donate please do and if you can't, please spread the word.
Risks and challenges
At various points in the film Rich wears a bit of a policeman’s costume and Lydia has to ride a bike (having genuinely never done it in real life), so we’re going to have to add “Contains explicit sexual content and severe peril” to our film’s consumer warning.
Seriously though - our budget is rigorous, the script is tight, and we’ve risk assessed to within an inch of our sanity. As long as we can make the target, we are confident we can deliver a film with humour and heart.
We just need your help to do it!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
