A Tiny Graphical Update and a Huge Thank-You

Posted by Lumina Celare (Creator)

Good morning, Rift Rush faithful!

CK here with what is likely to be our last note of love and appreciation before the Kickstarter period ends.

We've got a few things on tap today as we start our final push.  First, included in this post is a tiny graphical update video that hopefully makes things look a little nicer as we complete our quest for an artist.  Shitty cubes no more!  BEHOLD!  Rounded cubes.  With proper lighting, even!

Second, the first Story Mode build went out to backers whose emails I've got a few days ago.  PM me with your email if you haven't gotten one.

Second-b, we'll be setting up a few Kickstarter surveys after the funding period ends to gather the information we need to distribute folks' rewards.  Our distribution system should be up and running before the April 26 build release, so hopefully we'll get to use that for our $25+ backers.  ($10 backers will likely receive a non-updating build copy as usual.)

Lastly, thank you SO much for your support so far.  Almost 400% funding with (as far as I know) *zero* press exposure.  That's crazy talk, if you ask me.  The best kind of talk.

More soon!

CK

Simple, but nice change. Where do I apply for artist? =]

Remember that Kickstarter only lets you send one survey to each pledge tier through their system. It can be different for each tier, but each tier can only get one.
So if you are planning to send more than one to each person, you should use SurveyMonkey or similar sites like other Kickstarters tend to do when they realize this, or when they need feedback on something later/earlier, or some form of survey that is not supported in the Kickstarter one.
Also remember that Kickstarter requires every question/field to be answered/fillled, so take what into account when you make the survey.
Just some reminders and tips from me. ;)

Well, I'm satisfied. Those hideous corners were the only thing preventing me from complete enjoyment. Glad to see it's all wrapped up. ;)

Wow, you are so much better at platforming than me. I can barely get past level 2 on the current build.
