Whoops - I mean "try on Tabletopia" :)
I'd like to try the game on tabletop simulator. I have an account. Private message me if you'd like to setup a time to play.
Hi there, I have played crisis 5 times now on tabletopia, always as single player and i have to agree to Jules that the game would benefit from additional Event- but even more from additional Company Cards. There are 18 Phase I Companies and there are three rounds in Phases I (a 6 cards each) so each game will show every single company.. overall I absolutely love the game but the re-playability suffers a little from being able to predict what's coming up (or what's very likely to come up)..
+1 to Tabletop Simulator version
> @LudiCreations: Thank you very much! I hope more Kickstarter creators do something along these lines going forward!
As we are also backers, yes, we're with you on that.
However, as creators, we fully understand why this might not happen so often. It simply takes a ton of time - as evidenced by how long it took us to release this backer update.
@LudiCreations: Thank you very much! I hope more Kickstarter creators do something along these lines going forward!
> @LudiCreations: Do you mind if people who have Tabletopia accounts sign up for demo considerations?
Not at all! We thought about limiting it to those who do not, but in the end it was much more trouble than it's worth. It's better to have more people anyway, so as to have a wide variety of possible times and dates.
@LudiCreations: Do you mind if people who have Tabletopia accounts sign up for demo considerations?
Ah pity, I'd like to be able to take a look at it.
> If at all possible, please consider Tabletop Simulator, as Tabletopia overall has been a horrible user experience for me and all my friends.
It is not currently in the works, but we are considering all possibilities. In the short run we will depend on Tabletopia, and then depending on demand expressed to us, we will decide on future implementations.
If at all possible, please consider Tabletop Simulator, as Tabletopia overall has been a horrible user experience for me and all my friends.
> Sorry for overpopulating your page, but I have one last question.
Answered on the general campaign comments page.
Sorry for overpopulating your page, but I have one last question. If it will not be funded 15 X over, and that you will have a limited run, does that mean you may end the campaign early, once you hit a number of games, to ensure you can produce and ship the games? I now realize how much my last statements sound like stretch goals. I do think if providing more variety of crisis cards won't cost you much more, it may be a good idea though. Ok. I will let other people post! Congrats on your successful project and great looking game!!!
Btw, let's keep this space for discussing the update above, it might be that technical issues come up with Tabletopia, and we would not want to miss them among a more general discussion.
Thanks Jules, appreciate your commitment to making the game better. We will discuss this with the designers.
Sorry, I did not necessarily mean stretch goals, although now I will ask for something if possible. I watched the series of videos that showed the whole game in solo play, and it may have been because the reviewer spent the majority of the time in the yellow zone, but there did not seem to be as large a variety of crisis cards, that two cards came up twice. I personally think more cards, or all unique cards may be better. Just my two cents. I appreciate your committment to production and fulifillment. Another possibility would be to have special labelling to indicate the kickstarter version or something. They don't have to be stretch goals, but something to commemorate the high level of response. Just thoughts.
> Thank you for the fast response. So there is no economy of scale or possible improvements if at the end of this you have been funded 15x over (assuming the rate of progress stays constant)?
It seems that you are referring to the issue stretch goals, which we cover on the campaign page. We will be doing a limited print run, which will allow us to produce & fulfill in the planned timeframe. That is incompatible with stretch goals. And we spent most of our money subsidizing your shipping fees. And, we guarantee you this, the campaign will not be funded 15x over - that's 5000+ copies, which can not be produced & fulfilled in an orderly fashion.
Thank you for the fast response. So there is no economy of scale or possible improvements if at the end of this you have been funded 15x over (assuming the rate of progress stays constant)?
> Well Done! So if it is already funded 2.5 x over, where do we go from here? Are there any product improvements to come?
Hopefully, we go to a succesful production process and timely fulfillment - our clear and present goals. Anything extra we may add will have to not jeopardize achieving them.
Well Done! So if it is already funded 2.5 x over, where do we go from here? Are there any product improvements to come?
