CALLING ALL POLLYWOGS!
Thanks to you we successfully launched DRAGON FROG Issue #1. Here's 'hopping' we can do it again for Issue #2!
Healed by an ancient Dragon, young Cyd Pollywog channels primeval power to fight crime, battle monsters and become a HERO. Welcome to the world of DRAGON FROG!
An All-Ages Action Adventure series, DRAGON FROG takes place on the streets of Empyreal, a nation city where creatures are forbidden to use their natural abilities in public. With every froggy heroic action young Cyd is actually breaking the law. This is why he must avoid being arrested by Regulators and Ruffnecks from the Empyreal Centerforce.
Why is this law in place? What motivates Cyd to become a hero in spite of being publicly branded an outlaw? Find out in the pages of DRAGON FROG!
IN DRAGON FROG ISSUE #1...
At the dawn of a new day, a mysterious Visitor flings an amber pendant (containing a humanoid monster) into a reservoir at the heart of Empyreal. Why? No one yet knows.
Later that day, Centerforce Ruffnecks and Regulators do their best to keep Empyreal safe...
...from a group of armed Bandits that rob Fortoosiss Bank.
During their getaway, the Bandits board a gunship that laser blasts Centerforce Patrol Birds and an airborne News Hoverbird.
After keeping citizens safe from the crashing News Hoverbird, young Cyd Pollywog dons a wetsuit, a pair of goggles and his scaly sash weapon named Dragontail...
...then stretches his webbed fingers and toes to GLIDE after the Bandits.
IN DRAGON FROG ISSUE #2…
The action continues!
We learn that Cyd focuses a creative power known as VEEV, which he uses to enhance his froggy abilities as well as power his scaly Dragontail.
We meet Cyd's best bud Bee Roh Brindle, a bulldog gearhead with a tow wrecker. Young Bee Roh drives Cyd across Empyreal to avoid being caught by Centerforce Regulators.
We also meet Javalina Wildflower, Cyd's no-nonsense lady boar governess. Javalina doesn't approve of Cyd leaping across Empyreal to battle savage creatures, but she's always ready to help the impulsive frog during his most desperate hours.
All this and much more!
So "Go With Veev" and enjoy the rewards when you successfully back our DRAGON FROG Kickstarter Campaign! KO-KEEE!

Sergio Lazaro & Nanci Lillie
Sergio is a Cuban American writer of comic books, screenplays and children's literature. While in 6th grade detention, the prospects of freedom and adventure consumed his thoughts. It was there the idea of a high-flying crime-fighting frog lit his imagination.
Years later, while managing a bar on the East Side of NYC, Sergio met his wife-to-be Nanci. During the early months of their love story, Sergio shared DRAGON FROG with her and she was immediately charmed by the character and his adventures.
Since then, Sergio and Nanci have worked very hard to bring DRAGON FROG to life. They are 100% dedicated to publishing a high-quality All Ages comic series full of adventure and fun.
In 2018 they completed a successful Kickstarter campaign for DRAGON FROG ISSUE #1. Now their debut comic can be found on the shelves of over 20 comic book stores across New England.
“DRAGON FROG is a way for me to explore things that make me happy. Building a world, discovering what motivates people (and creatures), embracing diversity in cultures, religions, and, most especially, perfecting my craft. What I wasn’t prepared for was the outpouring of appreciation for what I do from so many walks of life. I am incredibly grateful to have stayed the course and simply done what makes me happy.” — Sergio Lazaro

Risks and challenges
Issue #2 is the second of what will be many issues in the DRAGON FROG series. The budget for this issue will go 100% toward printing and rewards production.
At present, the artwork is more than halfway complete. At the current pace, we should be able to send Issue #2 to the printer early this Summer. This will allow for a September 2019 shipment.
The printing for Issue #1 was done by PrintNinja, and we were thrilled with the results. Many comic book store managers have complimented us on the print quality. Therefore, we have a high level of confidence in the results and timeline for the printed issues.
Once artwork is complete, the Issue #2 digital format will be available for email delivery shortly after.
Just like DRAGON FROG ISSUE #1, we promise to deliver a full color adventure comic printed with quality that rivals any top tier comic in the industry.
Thank you sincerely for backing our campaign. Ko-KEEE!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
