"How Could She" is a documentary that will explore why millions of women voted for an unqualified, misogynistic candidate with a history of abusing and devaluing women over one of the most qualified Presidential candidates in U.S. history, who just so happened to be a woman.
The film will take us on a compelling journey as we capture the passion of the Women's March in Washington D.C. and then travel across the country to interview women that supported Donald J. Trump for President.
What does this say about us as women? What does this say about our relationship with one another? What does it say about our standing in the world?
"How Could She" will reveal why women did not stand together and where we go from here.
On January 21, 2017, thousands of women will descend on Washington D.C. to raise their voices against a President that does not value them, does not respect them and threatens to turn back the clock to a time when women, minorities, immigrants, the LGBTQ community and free-thinkers had no rights. The "How Could She" Team will be there to capture all that unfolds during this affair. In addition, we will conduct interviews with key individuals present for this historic event.
Following the Women's March, we'll travel around the United States to interview women that helped shape the outcome of this election. We will visit the three counties that tipped the scales for Trump and we'll talk to women living in Blue Counties in the heart of Red States. We'll meet women that stayed committed to Hillary, in spite of outside pressure. We'll talk to the women that chose not to vote and hopefully discover why so many women said "no" to one of the most qualified presidential candidates in history, who was also the first woman to ever win a major party nomination for President of the United States.
WHO WE ARE
We are a group of accomplished / award-winning artists who, like so many, are reeling from recent events. The questions, concerns, anger and heartbreak is immense and it lays over us like a wet, suffocating blanket.
We are making this film to answer the questions that millions of women are asking - "How could any woman vote for Trump and where do we go from here."

Risks and challenges
Like most documentaries, "How Could She" will face logistical and scheduling challenges. Unlike many documentaries, this project requires that we take special care to ensure the safety of those involved.
No matter the challenge, our experienced, relentless and imaginative production team will tackle each obstacle like a pro. We'll lock up our interviews and work to keep everyone on schedule. If it rains non-stop, we'll gear up. If equipment fails, we'll fix it or replace it. If someone is being part of the problem and not the solution, we'll replace them. When it comes to our safety, we'll be smart and look out for each other.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
