Have a question?
Any update on the surveys? No rush, just thought it was supposed to be out by now
Also: so good to hear it's for your daughter! Theater kids are great.
John, June is still looking good, though it may be late June depending on when we get files back from the designer and the printer's schedule.
Shaun, is June still looking good for delivery? Really glad to be able to back a project from London as well, having spent nine years at Western :) This is for my daughter, and I know she will love it, being a comic book nerd (in the best way), and a theatre kid as well.
Thanks, everyone! Really, sincerely, I am so grateful for your support. Can't wait to get this book out to you!
Well done guys...
@umar abbasi - yes we will definitely find a way to recognize our backers 😄
Btw. Will backers see their names on the physical copy's of the book. That's something I would love to see.
@XHIBA - The script book portion of that reward is digital, and represents what I sent to Anna to illustrate. It also includes a print copy of the book. The standard print edition is paperback (oversized in the European style), while the hardcover (also oversized) is only available through this campaign. The Shakespeare text and commentary are bound with the hardcover in one volume. Thanks!
Should’ve asked this sooner before final hours (rip), but what does the Script Book (CA$45 tier) and CA$65 tier entail? Is the script book a (print?) copy of the novel’s manuscript? How is the exclusive hardcover different from the standard? Are the original Shakespeare text and commentary a part of the exclusive hardcover or are they in separate files/prints? Thanks!
@xhiba - trust me, you will not be disappointed! :-)
I think the character reinterpretation I anticipate the most is Lady Macbeth, The Red Queen... >:3c
Thank you @umar abbasi :-) and to everyone else who helped make this happen!
Sweet. your funded.
Its so close that I can taste it.
Still looking good, I think you’ll seal the deal in the final days.
Looks amazing! I can't wait to get this!
@Umar Abbasi: thanks - looks like you won’t have to wait too much longer 😄
I cant wait to read this.
Love the idea! More than 70% and ten days to go, I hope it’ll fund on time!
Great looking project! Wish you guys the best on reaching your funding goal :)
Lawrence -- so glad you're excited for the project! Stories like yours mean a lot to us. If it turns out the campaign isn't successful, we'll look at next steps -- at this point we're still very hopeful. But as we've mentioned on the main campaign page, the book is complete -- I assure you we won't just disappear!
Shades -- thanks again! Anna is amazing.
Tell your friends! Let's get this across the finish line. Thanks for all your support!
It's been a week since I backed you... and I still can't get over how awesome the art is!
I'm a PhD student working on history of Scotland and history of/in comics so this feels like a present just for me. Thank you so much for making this. I can't wait for my copy. I hope it gets the funding. One question though. If it doesn't reach the goal to make the print run, is there a possible fallback to purchase the PDF version if I backed at the print level? I don't use crowdfunding much so maybe I just missed an explanation.
What an awesome idea for a graphic novel. Absolutely love the art style!
@Shades of Vengeance Comics: thanks!
Less than $4,000 to go! You can do it!
With all of shakespeare.... The hands the washing of hands...
Loving the fresh take. Such a cool angle :)
Shades of Vengeance - Shaun has worked with Anna for some time. If you read the project update about selecting art for a graphic novel, Shaun goes into the backstory a bit and you'll even get to see snippets from their other books - Interesting Drug and Hell, Nebraska. Thanks for a great question and your support!
Amazing art! Where did you find your artists?
Big thanks to Joan for getting us over the 25% mark :-)
Thanks to everyone who is helping to make the dream come true :-) Be sure to follow @luchacomics on twitter/insta/facebook, and rember, you can always share the project with this URL: https://goo.gl/hgfdM7
And thanks again for being awesome backers :-)

Thanks Eric! Really looking forward to getting this out there!
This looks really cool.
