Remember to keep checking back as we will be adding more art!
LoveCraft Gallery is a "labour of love" for co-owners Tracy Sutherland and Daria Fox. We have dedicated the gallery to local and emerging artists, with the intention to support new artists and help them learn the skills to succeed as budding professionals. In addition to supporting artists, LoveCraft has strong ties to the community, offering workshops and connecting with local high schools.
To do all this, we need YOUR help. Your support will help make this all a reality. This amazing space is completely empty, but full of potential. We need to build walls, plumb in the bathrooms, build plinths, and make the displays. While we're both more than willing to put in our share of elbow grease, materials must be purchased, and tradespeople must be paid. Support the gallery project, do your part for local artists, and come away with some original art of your very own, or an event just for you - sounds like a win-win, doesn't it?
We've already put $10 000 into the project, including permit fees, paying for our building plans, and paying contractors. What we need from you is help with materials for our walls. We've already put up the frame and foundation; you are the one who will make it look professional, beautiful and welcoming.
Misc supplies (screws, pins, drywall mud etc) $300
Should $7000 be pledged, we will buy a kiln used for glass and ceramics work, expanding the workshops and artists we can have in our studios.
All supporters will have their names listed on our Donors page, and receive our undying love.

Digital painting, based on roughly forty different thin slices of various rocks, seen under ultraviolet light. Samples of actual oil paint strokes were used to create the rock textures, along with astronomical photographs and organic textures. Different layers and kinds of rock were combined to create the most striking luminous effect, and the whole was printed on museum-grade, 330 pound acid free paper. Created by Rob Furr.

Risks and challenges
Our biggest obstacle is meeting our construction deadlines, as coordinating contractors can be like herding cats. We've budgeted enough extra time that even with delays of a week or two, we will be ready before our Grand Opening of May 30th, 2014.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
