I wanted to share with you how this idea was formulated to create Advanced Freedom.  Throughout my childhood and teens, my absolute favourite thing to do was swimming.  For many years I watched as young adults my age were enjoying themselves in the water.  I didn't feel this enjoyment was inclusive of  disabled people.

I was inspired to make a change so all disabled people did not feel excluded from an activity that was so enjoyable.  I wanted and needed to feel the freedom and liberation I once felt before Multiple Sclerosis ravaged my body.  I thought to myself, why shouldn't disabled people get that same feeling, if only for a short time?

This was when Advanced Freedom  was born!  I really loved one piece swimsuits, but was relegated to purchase a tankini because it was a lot more accessible when undressing or going to the washroom.  Its difficult for everyone let alone a disabled individual.
