BGG Praise & Comments on WRATH:
"The new cards integrate smoothly into the gameplay and aesthetic of the original, offering new experiences without the burden of having to learn any new rules. Wrath adds fresh cards to the mix that promote player interaction and get the momentum of the game rolling along sooner. I especially like the one-time-use Defender cards and the action to buy more cards during a turn. The artwork is just as impressive as the original art. I love the selection of creatures and monsters in Wrath; lotta unique takes on iconic mythological beasts. Returning fans will be pleased with the expansion, and hopefully some newcomers will jump on the bandwagon. It’s shaping up to be a top deck-building game on the market." (gamemiser, USA - Rating: 9)
"This is a great deck-builder with its own unique twists and strategies! The expansion keeps the game fresh and very replayable by bringing new scenarios that force you to constantly adapt. Plus, the artwork is out of this world!" (melving77, Canada - Rating: 9)
"The expansion brings a renewal to the basic game which is already very rich. New monsters, new recruits, new events. To possess at all costs if you are a gaming enthusiast." (monster627, France - Rating: 8)
"The downtime is very low, turns are fast and smooth, and overall a great deck-builder." (JohnPlaygames, Canada - Rating: 10)
"The cards add more direct player interaction, some new mechanics, and flavour to the core game (which I enjoyed a lot), and so do the new Battle Stages. The artwork is as beautiful and atmospheric as in the core game. That Leviathan (one of the new cards) just gives me the creeps. From what I've seen so far, this expansion is going to be awesome!"(boldgamblinggnome, Germany - Rating: 9)
"My friends and I really like this expansion. I can't wait to get it when it's released. This expansion adds more interaction between the players and makes the game much more interesting. There is a new way to get Glory Points and it helps to diversify strategies. Stories for each Battle Stage help to create the mood of the game. If you like the base game, you will LOVE this expansion." (landrys, Canada - Rating: 8)
"The original game was a great experience. Lots of out-of-the-box mechanics that made it different than what was on the market. The Wrath Expansion adds so much variety to an already great game. Overall a very fun and positive experience worth having in any deck-building collection." (NICKD83, Canada - Rating: 10)
The WRATH Expansion enhances the original medieval fantasy deck-building game with 12 blind-packs, revealing an unfolding story of new cards, fun surprises, and changing setups.
10 Things That Make This Different:
#1. Pace - Killing Invaders can happen as early as the first turn! This pace was set on purpose, as most games ramp up slow, and the action takes a while to get rolling. The variety of weak and strong enemies allows for the choice of quick combat or a slow build to kill the heavier Invaders.
#2. Catch-Up - The game offers a solution for players who get discouraged when they are behind. The Events, Terror cards, and Terror Die create a "fatigue" that weighs on the game-leaders and encourages other players to catch up, giving anyone a chance to win the game, even when they are losing.
#3. Campaign Cards - Completing the secret Campaign cards adds an extra layer to your decisions. Should I pick up new Campaigns? Which Invader should I defeat now? How will these bonuses affect my win? How many Campaigns did my opponents complete?
#4. Hidden Points - The points from your kills and Campaigns are kept hidden throughout the game and it is uncertain who will win until the big reveal at the end. This keeps all players engaged, because there is never any certainty of loss or victory.
#5. Duration - The games end in about 30-45 minutes once you know how to play. This allows for multiple plays and constant rematches where you can tweak your strategy.
#6. Doomsday Timer - The Terror Die and Event Cards act as a doomsday timer. Each time the Die increases to 6 and an Event is revealed, players feel the effects and it adds an element of shared suspense. Event cards most hurt the leading player(s), causing the other players to celebrate their misfortune... which is pretty funny.
#7. Terror Reveals - As the game progresses, you gain Terror cards (junk cards) from the revealed Invaders. Theme-wise it means that the new appearing enemy strikes fear and despair into the hearts of your army, affecting your future turns. These reveals also add an element of suspense, risk, and consequence to the attacking player.
#8. Pretty Pictures - We were blessed to partner with several talented illustrators who created the dark and beautiful world of both Draconis Invasion and the WRATH expansion. The artwork enhances the game experience and theme, while looking pretty nice on your table.
#9. Faster Turns - The A-BCDE-F gameplay in Draconis Invasion (v1.1) is different than your average deck-builder. You may do your Action combos, but then you may only choose ONE of the following moves: BUY or CAMPAIGN or DEFEAT or ELIMINATE. Can't do them all. Choose just one. These decisions are crucial and they also make player turns shorter, which benefits the people waiting for you.
#10. A True Deck-Builder - Praised by some as their "favorite true deck-builder", Draconis Invasion adds no fancy gimmicks or crossovers with other hot mechanics. We are inspired by the deck-builders that we love to play and we wanted to keep things simple and fun, yet still unique. We developed Draconis Invasion and the WRATH expansion for:
- those who enjoy DBGs (Deck-Building Games)
- those who are new to DBGs
- those who want an improved experience in DBGs

Shipping costs have all been discounted and will be applied once the Kickstarter is over so as to allow us to calculate the costs when taking into account all the unlocked Stretch Goals and Add-Ons. The current estimates are as follows:

Add-On extra copies of the WRATH expansion or Original Base Game will increase the listed shipping by approximately 25% per extra copy, so shipping of $8 CAD will increase to $10 CAD (+$2 CAD).
The Wrath + Original Base Game (2019 Wave) Pledge ships the Wrath expansion and base game together in June 2019.
All Other Base Game Pledges require that the base game ships separately from the WRATH expansion. A limited set of Base Games are ready and waiting to be sent to you 1 month after the Kickstarter campaign.

Risks and challenges
We've been developing toys and games, working with factories overseas, and coordinating with distributors since 2011. We realize that there can be unexpected delays in production, shipping, customs, and fulfillment. Our estimated delivery date gives us 9 months, but please keep in mind that this is an estimate. We will do our best to avoid possible delays and, in the unlikely event that we are unable to deliver the game, we will be refunding pledges in full. The game is 95% complete as we head into this Kickstarter, and we already have production facilities and fulfillment options confirmed.
Refund Policy: All pledges can be refunded up to 15 days after the end of the Kickstarter campaign, charges included, no questions asked.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
