When performer friends, students both current and former, and family kept asking me "When are you going to showcase your choreography?", I thought they were joking. It turns out they weren't. So here I am putting a dance concert together.
I find musical theatre a perfect medium to blend every aspect of dance. I love telling stories through movement. It is a joy to work with past students, who are now professional performers, who understand style, transitions, and the art of story telling.
I am trying to get my work out into the world. I've been choreographing professionally for quite some time and thought it was time to present my work, with my dancers in NYC.
The funds raised for this project will go directly to the dancers, the musicians, and crew, as well as equipment, lights, sound, and securing space for rehearsals.
This project would not happen without your support and any donation large or small will go a long way.
I look forward to seeing you at the show!
Monday, May 12th, 7pm and 9pm.

Risks and challenges
Most people wouldn't believe it, but I am quite shy. Putting together a showcase of my work frightens me. Yes, I've choreographed shows and for class many times before, but this is a little different. It's a little like baring my soul.
I wanted so many people to dance, but I couldn't have everyone. Some people have had to back out due to work. Even then, scheduling is a challenge. Everyone isn't always available when everyone else is. But we will make do. I am thankful to have the dedicated people I have.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
