Have a question?
@Nerds to the Rescue: The wood box ships separately from all the other contents.
@Matt: Cool. Hope you enjoy the rest of it when it arrives.
I got my wooden box and figures today. My god they are gorgeous. Well done! Can't wait to get the rest of the game to put inside.
Yeah... I just noticed that there is no game in my box like everyone else....
Here's an update on fulfillment of Thornwatch. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/loneshark/thornwatch/posts/2184147
@Endo: We'll have an update later today or tomorrow on that.
Any idea when actual games will be shipped? I don't want to stand outside waiting earlier than I have to...
@James: Still working on sorting, signing, stacking, and prepping. We have tens of thousands of items to go through, and it takes a while.
@LoneSharkGames Hi there! Just wondering if shipping has started yet.
A bunch more slots for our Gen Con events for Thornwatch, Apocrypha, and The Ninth World just opened up. They're all play-and-wins, where you can walk away with the game you're playing. If you want in, jump on these before they're gone. https://www.gencon.com/event_finder…
@Thomas Edgerton you may want to check again. From the math that you provided, the wooden pawns are with the $300+ version and your sum total was for around the $150 edition which is the pin version listed in the campaign pledges
We are too!
Pumped up and ready to roll some dice!! Very excited now.
Here's an update on addresses being locked, plus Gen Con and Origins. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/loneshark/thornwatch/posts/2180848
Hi. I no longer have access to my original email address for the pledge manager. How do I go about changing my address?
My pledge was $83 for the base game. I also paid $10 for shipping and $50 for the wooden player figure upgrade.
Thronwatch is now claiming that I selected the collector pin. I do not want to spend $50 on this pin. Upon requesting a refund, I received this:
I’m sorry but we cannot either change or issue a refund at this point. The pin is on order and was selected by you when you completed your pledge.
I do not even recall seeing the pin as an option. There was a misunderstanding. While I can not say this is the worst Kickstarter I have ever backed, This is the worst service I have ever received on Kickstarter.
New update on the games arriving and address changes being shut off on Sunday. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/loneshark/thornwatch/posts/2179374
Heads-up: Addresses will be locked on Sunday. So if you have an address change, please change your address by Sunday at Noon Pacific Time via my.pledgemanager.com.
@Daniel: I hope you waved to it!
Nooooo! I live on the East Coast. You're telling me my game just drove past my house 2 days ago on its way to Seattle?
(Very excited. Good luck shipping.)
A update to yesterday's update: Trucks are on the way. Yay!
An update: We have had a significant delay in getting trucks to move our games from the factory in Massachusetts to our warehouse in Seattle. We hope to resolve it within a few days and get to the process of fulfilling the games as soon as we possibly can. We'll let you know more when we know it.
Probably the only time imitating Scott in real life is a good idea.
@Andrew: I mean, I'm not saying that's a bad idea.
WOOO! I'M GONNA GO WAIT FOR THE MAIL TRUCK NOW!
Here's an update on Thornwatch being finished in production. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/loneshark/thornwatch/posts/2158271
@Wesley: We would like that too. We'll let you know when we have a timeline for that. It won't be long.
I’m just really in the mood to finally get the game in my hands
We'll get an update about PAX East together in the next week or two, but for those who want to see what went down there, here's the Thornwatch Live video. https://www.twitch.tv/videos/247786347
Here's an update with our trip to visit the factory that's printing Thornwatch and what we're showing people at PAX East.
@Jonathan @LoanSharkGames I totally agree. I've been apart of a few campaigns that have been...a let down. Your commutation has been amazing. You've been "late" but at every stage you've let us know what's going on. Almost all of my campaigns have been late and its just a mystery what's going on at that point. Thank you. It makes me sad that I might not have gotten to it when it was first stated but you've clearly been working hard on what's been going on and I feel 100% sure I'll get what I payed for because of how great your communication has been.
@Jonathan: Thanks for the compliment. We do try.
Can I just say, Lone Shark, that I have kickstarted a few projects and games now, and all of them ran past their expected delivery date, but I have never seen a company so constantly involved in keeping their community as informed as you are. You should teach a class on running crowdfunding.
@Wesley: We gave an update 13 days ago. The game continues to be in the process of printing.
Anything to report?
@Gideon You should send them an email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Hope this helps.
Hello! I had to move suddenly and as a result, my address in pledge manager is no longer accurate. I have tried to change my address but I cannot unlock the project to make those changes. Is there a way to resolve this issue?
The hype is real! I can't wait to play this game!
Looks amazing! I'm super excited :)
Here is an update on Thornwatch and The Dark of the wood working their way through production. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/loneshark/thornwatch/posts/2098600
@Michael: Send a note to us at info @ [our company name] dot com.
How can we change our address?
Too busy making it happen to find time to write an update about making it happen. We'll get one out soon!
Any news on when it will ship to the US
How’s the journey to the printer coming?
They will of course be going out to backers before anyone else can get copies. We've been very clear about that.
I guess. I wish you could ship them to people who paid instead of going out to those who didn’t....
@Wesley: If you look at our updates, you can see where the game is. The tl;dr version: We have begun the process of sending it to the printer and are going back and forth with them on files. We think we may have some copies to show off at PAX East, and hope to begin fulfillment in a few months. I hope that helps.
