fulfillment ends, the game launches, and we release some new resources
We are delighted to say that after far longer than intended, The Ninth World is finished fulfilling to Kickstarter and PledgeManager backers. This was a long and difficult process, but the great news is that now everyone should have their games and playmaps. If you don't, please use our Talk to Us link and we'll get it sorted out.
A good launch
We launched the game worldwide on June 20th, and got immediate positive feedback from the fan base and retail community. A lot of talk centered on the unique game box and how the components fit in it. And we also heard that the game did some things no one had ever seen before. It felt really good to hear that from people.
If you missed anything for the game, head over to our new store and you can order whatever you need.
Here's some new online resources
We've put up a few things on our website that should improve your gaming experience. We've put these all on the Lone Shark page for The Ninth World.
First, there's the new online rulebook, which has been adjusted after some rules clarifications. We want to clear up a few confusion points that people have stumbled upon since the game has been released. Click on this image to see the rulebook.
Then we have the first Ninth World FAQ, which addresses those issues in detail. If you want to understand what we've changed, take a look at this by clicking on this image.
Finally, we wrote a Ninth World demo booklet for anyone who wants to strip down the game and teach other players how to play in both competitive and cooperative modes.
We hope you enjoy those! And now that this campaign is done, we want to thank you for your patience and your enthusiasm. We're very happy to have this game on your table.
