Bank Heist is a social deduction game that promises action and suspense, deception, and most importantly - loads of fun.
No early eliminations and an explosive action phase are the things that set Bank Heist apart in the social deduction genre.
Our goal was to create a game that groups could play over and over without the frustration of being targeted without any ability to prevent elimination. That's why Bank Heist is played in two primary phases:
In the Robbery Phase, players are loading cash into the truck and taking actions based on their role. There are no eliminations during this phase. Instead each player is gathering items for later use and observing the actions of other players to figure out who's Crew and who may be Agents or Rivals.
Bank Heist includes the best elements of social deduction games such as suspense and deception but adds an explosive action element. That's where the Getaway Phase comes in.
You will now use the items collected during the robbery to eliminate those you don't trust. In Bank Heist, eliminating a player isn't as easy as a majority vote or pointing your finger. Some players may have a bulletproof vest or use cards to avoid attacks. This makes for an action-packed finale and is truly what sets Bank Heist apart from other social deduction games.
Another pain point in many games is the lack of creativity when deciding who goes first. Rather than having the start player be the last person to have a birthday or get their oil changed - we decided to go a different route. In Bank Heist there is a quick process where players must "Crack the Vault" to begin the robbery. The player who solves the combination first gets to kick things off.
There are 3 roles in Bank Heist: Crew, Agent, and Rival. We wanted our game to be fun for every player regardless of the role you're dealt. Whether you're rushing to finish the robbery as Crew, waiting to pull off your double-cross as a Rival, or preparing to take everyone down as an Agent—you're guaranteed to have a blast and want to play each role again and again.
One of the most fun aspects of Bank Heist is the in-game player mods called Attributes. Some Attributes such as Martial Skills are very good, while others such as Hush Money are not so good but totally satisfying when passed to that player you just really need to shut up.
These modifications also help keep Bank Heist new exciting each time you play. One game may feature a Trigger Happy Agent while the next leaves them Gun Jammed.

One of the biggest reasons we cancelled our previous campaign was shipping. We wanted to make sure we were able to take care of our international backers properly which was not possible prior to now.
We are shipping the Bank Heist pledge level internationally according to the following chart. If your country is not listed please send us a message and we will try our best to accommodate all of our potential backers.
Risks and challenges
The greatest challenge for us has been learning on the fly. We had a previous campaign for Bank Heist which we canceled in June 2019. We feel that canceling this previous campaign helped build trust with our backers. This new campaign has allowed us to lower pricing for ourselves and our backers. In addition to that, we now have a better solution for international shipping through a third-party logistics company.
An additional challenge is gaining trust as a brand new company releasing our first game. We have sent our game to multiple outlets for previews and worked hard to get it in front people in the "real world." We have attended Origins, Gen Con, and many smaller conventions which have allowed us to put our game and ourselves in front of hundreds of potential backers. Showing our proof of concept to as many individuals as possible has helped us build a foundation of trust among our supporters.
We have invested nearly two years of our lives as well as thousands of dollars in creating and marketing the game. For this reason, we are dedicated to this game and seeing it come to life. Our backers can rest assured that we will deliver our game in a timely manner. We have been working with our manufacturer since the cancellation of our last campaign to get the ball rolling ahead of schedule.
With any project there is always the risk of unforeseen circumstances. If there are any delays or hangups throughout this process we promise to quickly communicate with everyone and work as hard and as fast as possible to correct these issues.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
