Production Update - Episode 1

Welcome to what will be a technical update to keep up with the production’s progress!

First of all, I would like to apologize for the lack of updates last month: we were waiting for certain news from the factory and we didn’t want to provide other updates with information on which we are not confident, but at this moment it seems right to update.

In these days the factory is completing the production of miniatures, and will soon finalize the assembly of boxes. Unfortunately, as we have repeatedly said, the production of miniatures has taken longer than expected in order to maintain the high-quality level of the models we have promised.

Our factory has committed a lot, but there have been structural problems with the creation of some molds. Actually, during the production, some molds were damaged and it was necessary to make them again. Now they are trying to make up for lost time due to these unexpected events. By next Monday they will tell us the definitive date of the end of production.

As you can see in the attached pictures, we are now almost done.

For our part, we do not in any way discharge the fault of the delay all on our factory, NA it's our project and it is our responsibility to make you receive the II Wave as soon as possible. For this reason, in order to make up such problems, we decided to use air shipments instead of the maritime ones, it will be fully charged to LMS, so no baker will have additional shipping costs. Air cargo will allow us to reduce shipment times from 6/7 weeks to 2/3 weeks. We hope this can make you happy :).

That's all for now, see you next Tuesday for more information on Episode 2.

As always, thank you!

So with 1 week till Production update from Company and 2 weeks for them to finish, 2-3 weeks for air shipping and 2- 3 weeks for you to ship it to us, we´re looking at probably 7-9 weeks, correct?

Appreciate the honest communication. Already missed my paternity leave window, so I won't be able to get into playing until school is out mid-June anyway. Just deliver us an amazing product and all will be forgiven!

For those of us who were missing parts and had broken parts from the first wave every week of delay matters since we were told they would not be provided until the second wave. Not all of us are able to play the first wave yet.

While normally I would not care if there was additional delay in Wave 2 so would not mind if the shipment went by sea, I know that you are going to be launching Black Rose soon.

I've backed NA to about $300ish USD and I backed ST for the same, despite having not received the Wave 1 shipment of NA first. At the time I was very reluctant to back ST since I hadn't seen NA or played it yet. It was some of the cross overs that finally caused me to decide to back it.

I am even MORE reluctant to back Black Rose when it starts since NA hasn't even finished shipping yet and ST isn't even close to start shipping. I'm really hopping that Wave 2 of NA will arrive before Black Rose is launched, even if it means delaying Black Rose for a little bit.

An established company like CMON might be able to get away with having two games still in production and launching a third but not a newer company. So far, everything I have received has been VERY good, and I would like to back Black Rose but I hope to have received all of NA first.

That’s really awesome on the air shipment. That sucks that you have to foot the bill for it.

LMS, since this project has already been crawling along for about 28 months, and still now has an undefined number of months remaining, what difference does 4 additional weeks really make for non-air shipping? I am sure there are some folks avidly waiting on the remainder and I in no way begrudge them that, it just does not seem very meaningful given the timeline already passed.

Hey take your time, I gots lots of games to play with in the meantime. Thanks guys.

@sgbeal - eheheheh in effect it's expansive but it's an effort that we can bear. This will encourage us to do better in the future ;)

Air shipment sounds expensive. i hope that doesn't break your company!
