Light comes after Darkness
Our journey through the Lodge’s rooms is almost over. Only a few rooms have not been visited yet, so we immediately lead you to the bright Yellow rooms!
The Sanctuary is a sacred place for all mages in the Lodge. In past centuries many Diviners have dealt with this room and consecrated it to light and benevolence, trying to move the good feelings of the other schools’ mages. The waters of its pool are soaked in positive energy and give refreshment and relief to those who dive into it.
A mage who activates the Sanctuary will heal two of his wounds: a useful power for any mage who wants to avoid killing and thus prevent his opponents to win one of his/her trophies. If you have Necromancy or Divination cards in your deck, you will be able to maximize this effect, healing manydamages by spending relatively few.
Thousands of volumes, which were collected by Lodge’ mages over the centuries, are kept in this place of knowledge. The amount of power and knowledge contained in these books can’t be described and that is why, for the mages, this is probably the most precious room in the Lodge. The Bibliotheca is always very busy and it is easy for mages to spend most of their time in this room, investigating and researching new formulas and ideas for their experiments, or to improve the spells they have already learned.
A Mage in the library can activate it to draw a card from any library’s deck ... even from the discarded ones! This power is really interesting if you want to obtain a specific spell that another mage has, fortunately (for you) discarded. If used in this way, the room can be really optimized to the maximum, but do not underestimate the importance of a bonus pick that could bring you unexpected satisfactions!
The Observatory is one of the oldest rooms. The project for a powerful Telescope was found centuries ago in an ancient crypt, and the mages managed to recreate this amazing machinery. In this room the Divination’s mages (but not only them) observe the stars to have omens about the future or to figure out what the stars are silently suggesting. Recently the Void mages have also been interested in this room, many think they use it to communicate in some way with the deep space entities they are allied to.
A mage can use the telescope to draw 3 Quests from the current moon deck, pick one and change it with a Quest in his/her possession: this power if you have focused your quest resolution strategy and if you have several Divination cards, can be really effective! Being able to control the Quests will allow you to avoid too difficult quests or choose an easy one to solve at any given moment in the game!
That’s all for today! We will meet again tomorrow to complete the core box rooms by analyzing the Green rooms and, of course, by visiting the last and most important room in the Lodge: the Black Rose room!
The Keeper pose!
As you know, yesterday the last poll for the creation of Chrono’s Keeper has expired. With this vote, you were asked to choose our Gorgon guardian’s pose, and the result was an incredible ex equo of pose 1 and pose 3, with a slight advantage of the latter, which was expressed as the second preference by many. Since this result, we decided that the final Keeper’s pose will have elements of both poses!
Giovanni has already worked on it, and we will soon show you the final result: we are sure it will drive you crazy! Great job, Mages!
And finally, as usual, some spoilers!
Stay tuned and spread the word!
