A prototype is a preliminary model of something. Projects that offer physical products need to show backers documentation of a working prototype. This gallery features photos, videos, and other visual documentation that will give backers a sense of what’s been accomplished so far and what’s left to do. Though the development process can vary for each project, these are the stages we typically see:
Proof of Concept
Explorations that test ideas and functionality.
Demonstrates the functionality of the final product, but looks different.
Looks like the final product, but is not functional.
Appearance and function match the final product, but is made with different manufacturing methods.

- The Master & The Classic-
What's the most famous pistol in your mind? My answer will always be the M1911, a pistol that most Americans have agreed with for the past century.
The M1911 was designed by Mr. John Moses Browning, and served as the standard-issue sidearm for the United States Armed Forces since 1911 to 1986.
It’s not only a pistol, but also a representation of the honor and pride of American service personnel.
- Pay Tribute to M1911 -
Thus, we designed the M1911-h. It’s a two-piece card holder that simulates its reloading action. When you press the releasing button, the inner magazine will be released from the outside case, so that you can take your card from it with one hand. Once you’ve finished, you simply push the magazine back until you hear that famous reload “click” sound!

- Features -
[Made of Metal]
The M1911-h is made from a aluminum-magnesium alloy. So it’s not too heavy but it keeps the weight as it was in the original design.

[Real Walnut Wood Grip]
Before 1938, the grip of M1911 was made by walnut wood with is famous “double diamond” pattern. After that, in order to lower the cost, the grips were made from plastic. However, it’s not going to happen to the M1911-h. In order to replicate the original grip we decided to use real walnut wood with almost a ‘completely’ handmade process. A handmade process is never cheap but we believe it’s worthwhile to do so.
[Changeable Inner Holder]
The inner holder (magazine) of the M1911-h was designed to load 6~7 credit cards, 20 business cards or around 7 cigarettes. If you don’t want to keep reloading the content every day you can pledge extra for mor inner holders to load different items.
[Right & Left Handed Friendly]
We are fully aware that the reloading button is actually located at the same side of the grip. However, in order to make it both right and left handed user friendly we decided to make the release button on the side so that both right and left handed users can easily use it!
[Customized Laser Engraving (option) ]
We believe it's one of the coolest & stylish items of the year and a gadget like this needs to have your name on it. You can decide if you'd like to pledge more to have your ‘magazine’ laser engraved as an additional option. It will appear on the
bottom of the magazine.
There are quite backers message us that asking if M1911-h will come with a case? As a result, one of our best partners Grasse Leather Design helped us to make one. 100% handmade leather case for M1911-h. Holes on its back so that can attach on a belt, with 45 degree toward up front. *Simply add $20 per one on the item you pledged, and put a not on it, so that we will notice.

The mold is actually being processed as we speak and should be ready by late June or early July. If everything goes well, we should be able to start to ship by November.

We have already run a small successful private funding project to ‘test the water’ & raise funding for the tooling. Now we are back bigger than ever to raise funds to go into full production with the help of you!
