I’m a big fan of Lightning God Leo.
He is wielding the sword in the title art so he must be important! Orlandeau Jr. is looking good.
If the concept art gets properly translated to the game, its going to look amaizing!
The Inversion levels sound like they could provide a way to keep things relatively fresh if you want to grind for a bit to level-up your heroes. I remember having to do many hours of grinding in FFT (I wasn't brilliant at the game, nor was I researching the optimal way to play through the game.) I loved the game, but some of that grinding would start to get a bit tiresome. Out of curiosity, do you have an idea of what kind of difficulty curve to expect as you progress through the story in Unsung Story (and thereby, how much grinding an average player may have to do)? If the Inversions are as fun as they sound like they could be, taking time to grind and replay levels could be much more fun than repetitive.
Sir Leonardo looks similar to Orlandu, but I’m not complaining haha! Thanks for the update!
For what it's worth, the Fracture/Inversion model for extra playability invites thoughts of all sorts of player-applicable modifiers. It also allows for themed series battles and small alternate story arcs told across 3 or 5 battles. Very very exciting stuff!
I would absolutely love to see those topics you list under 'Upcoming Kickstarter Updates' covered - maybe not each of them every month, but surely one area, in the course of a 30 day period, should see significant progress worthy of a writeup for a kickstarter update.
I assume it's a function of the narrative being told in reverse. Age and appearance are...INVERTED?
It's the beard. It ages him 40 years.
@Ryan - good catch! We've corrected that.
I came to make the same comment as Ryan about Sir Leonardo's age vs his appearance and backstory haha
Wait, they were friends for decade and he looks like he is 70, but he is only 24?
