I'm a technologist and rarely not in front of my computer or mobile devices. But when I need to really focus, I prefer to use an old fashion pen and paper far away from anything with access to the internet to limit my distractions.
As an inventor and a software engineer I found that a lot of my ideas revolved around a mobile form factor device. Which meant I was hand drawing a rectangle to look like the screen of a phone when I was jotting down my ideas. I tried a few other approaches but everything took more time than they were worth.
WireRubber is my solution, my secret, and I want to share it with you.
WireRubber is a simple rubber stamp the size and likeness of a popular smart phone. It allows designers, engineers, offering managers, product leads, inventors, professors, and children of all ages a quick way to add a mobile device to their hand drawn and offline ideation process. I have already paid to have a mold created and a few samples, now I'm raising money through Kickstarter to mass produce the rubber stamp and make it available to help others get their mobile inspired ideas down on paper.
Spend less time wireframing and more time innovating.
The rubber stamp is beautiful. It's got a thick 100% wood base on top of a high quality rubber stamp.
The dimensions are similar to a popular smart phone.
Pretty simple. You get a stamp (or 5)!

Risks and challenges
Biggest risk is meeting the December ship date for backers. I'm hoping to have them all delivered by Christmas! Making these great gifts for the mobile lovers in your lives. There could be delivery issues getting the stamps in my hands that are out of my control but I've already got the mold, so once I have a final count on the number of stamps I need to purchase, placing the order will be quick.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
