About this project
What do you do with your earbuds when you want to take them out for a little while? They're a pain to hold and they often get tangled. Have you ever been on the treadmill, out for a jog, or riding your bike when you accidentally pull your earbuds out? If you're lucky, you can catch them before they fall to the floor or trip you. That is why I came up with the idea for BudLinX.
- Comfortable - you can't even feel they're on
- Machine Washable
- Easily Adjustable - to different lengths
- Simple to Use
- Light Weight
- One Size Fits All
How do BudLinX work and what do they do?BudLinX are super simple. You just insert the earbuds through the hoops at the end and let them hang! When you want to put your buds back in you know right where they are. But it gets better! BudLinX are multi-functional. You can use them to wrap up your buds so they don't get tangled. You can also put the wire for your earbuds through the slip on the back of the BudLinX. Then you can keep your wires together and out of your way while you exercise.
When to use BudLinX
- On a plane, bus, boat or train
- Horseback Riding (lol)
- Hanging out
- At the beach
- In the coffee shop
- In the mall
- Doing laundry
- The possibilities are endless...
How will funding be used?
This project is a simple design. It's effective and logical. I am raising funds so that I can bring this from a prototype to the real deal and have it produced in the US. The money will be used for the first run of production.
When will BudLinX be available?
If funded, BudLinX will be available in a matter of months. Larger orders should be produced before November.
Let's get technical
BudLinX are spandex, just like your bathing suit. So you can work up a sweat and not worry about the fabric irritating your skin. They're super light weight and come in snazzy color combinations. BudLinX are less than half and inch in diameter and about 24" long. BudLinX fit most earbuds.
So, what's the plan?
Step 1: Raise enough funds on Kickstarter to move forward with BudLinX.
Step 2: Build BudLinX in a factory in USA.
Step 3: Ship rewards to kind-hearted folks who pledged.
Step 4: BRING BUDLINX TO MARKET! HOORAY!
