There is a revolution brewing.
This revolution will not be characterized by marches on Washington. It will not be known for its riots, its strikes or its sit-ins. It will not be remembered for the bloodied bodies it left behind.
This revolution will not be jarring, sudden or violent, but it will shift the world.
It has already begun.
This is the revolution of the Millennial Generation. This is the revolution of the small business, the creative, the entrepreneur, the freelancer and the innovator. This is the revolution of a generation that faces never-before-imagined realms of opportunity, the resources of the internet, a global audience, and a worldwide recession.
This generation has high expectations.
Perhaps these expectations, skewed by childhood stories of happy endings and the mantra “Follow your dreams,” will be their downfall, sending them, disillusioned, boomeranging back to their parents' homes.
Perhaps it only means they will not stop until they find success.
They are the Limitless Generation. Their story must be told.
This is a feature length documentary that distills the essence of the Millennial generation’s search for value and success. The story is told through conversations with members of the Millennial generation who embody its core values, interviews with experts who have studied Millennials, and the cross-country journey of the filmmakers themselves as they delve into the story of their own generation.
This documentary addresses two central questions: How does our generation define success? What does it take to get there?
This is a documentary about Millennials made by Millennials. Funding from the Kickstarter community is paramount if we want to protect the authenticity of this story - here are some of our big ticket items:
- Equipment Rentals
- Transportation (we're talking 7 major cities across the country: Los Angeles, Austin, Washington D.C., New York, Chicago, Seattle and San Francisco)
- Food for the crew (epic dream team of 4 over a 32 day shoot)
- Post-production (editing, sound design, color correction, effects, etc)

Risks and challenges
The Kickstarter goal is for $30,000 which is a HUGE help, but it's going to take more than that to finish the project, hit the festival circuit and run out a bomb Marketing and PR campaign (think private screenings, collaborations and exhibitions, we've got BIG plans). We estimate the final cost of the film to be $75,000 - we're putting in a nice chunk of our own money plus private investor contributions toward this but we definitely encourage you to give above and beyond so that we can tell the story of our generation on the level that it deserves. As with any project on this scale, there are many conflicts that may arise throughout the production that may impact the prompt delivery of rewards. For example, we could have scheduling issues on our 32 day road trip/shoot, we may have a holdup with our post production team in dealing with the scale of footage. We may have to shoot pick up interviews after the fact for VIPs with complicated scheduling. Fortunately, we are an extremely resilient and resourceful team and we are confident that we will be able to deliver this film at the absolute best level possible.
