Press and Theatrical Debut

Hi everybody,

Hope everything is going well. A few announcements:

After the New Orleans screening on 2/9, I had an interview with Natasha Angelety, Editor of Reel NOLA Magazine (a New Orleans indie film publication), and she included a nice write-up about me and Birdbath in the Spring Edition of the magazine! It's available online and in print at http://reelnola.com.

This Saturday at 1pm Pacific, I'll be on Callywood Radio talking about Birdbath with host Cosandra Calloway! You can tune in at http://blogtalkradio.com/callywood or call in to listen at 347-637-3016.

Also, exciting news: Birdbath will have its official THEATRICAL DEBUT JULY 12! It will play July 12-14 at Laemmle's Royal Theatre in West L.A., show times TBA. If you're in town or thinking about coming in town, I hope you can make it! There will be Q&As after selected screenings. More details soon.

The film will be available to watch online shortly after the theatrical release, but I encourage you to attend the theater screenings if it's possible, because the experience of watching it in a theater is much better! :)

Have a great week!

Lila

Latest News

Hey Everybody and Happy Holidays!

Just wanted to send a quick update to let you know that, unfortunately, Birdbath did not make it into Sundance, however, I completely stand by it, and I have no doubt it will find its right home! I've submitted it to several other festivals which would also be great to get into and will be submitting to more in 2013.

During the past month, I met with the Composer and we finalized the score for the film. He did such an amazing job. And I met with the Editor to create a very nearly finished cut of the film. I hope to have screenings in January or February, so stay tuned!

I'm also in the process of updating the web site and putting together Facebook and Twitter accounts for the film. A great PR person has just come on board, so we will be putting together a great Press Kit for the film, which will include bios, photo stills, production notes, and other cool information.

Thanks again for making the film possible! Wishing you all a great holiday!
