For our Android backers we provided early access to our Beta program back in November that allowed them to access the Android version of the App and use it as a Beta test. Bad news is the Beta program is now closed and we are technically unable to allow more people into the program (requirements by the Android team, out of our control). However, good news is that the public version of the Android App is set to launch in about 45 days. So you should see the Android Lifeprint app available in the Google play store by end of next month. Stay tuned. You can always write support@lifeprintphotos.com and sign up to our newsletter through our website (www.lifeprintphotos.com) for updates.

Hey @Mollie! Yes the cases are still being made. Very sorry for the delay. We got a first sample of the Lifeprint case back in December and we were unhappy with the quality of it. So we went back to the factory and are having new versions of better quality made up now. We will be providing a full update this week or next.

@Lifeprint saw your message and it has been two weeks now, can we expect an update soon? Love the printer but I am in desperate need of the case, my cover slips off easily after taking out of a pocket or book bag. I am afraid of ruining it.
@Maria, apologies. I misread your note. The Lifeprint case is currently in development and will be in production soon. We received our first prototype shortly before Christmas and it did not meet our quality standards. So we had to do some revisions and are working on Round 2 now. We will provide an update in 2 weeks when the next sample should be arriving.

Hello Mollie, we don't have a way to know how much extra film you ordered, but if you write support@lifeprintphotos.com they should be able to help. As for the case, we found some design flaws and are in the process or re-designing now. The way it was before, it would have come off the printer too easily and maybe caused more problems than it solved. But we are definitely working on it. In fact I have a design review with the team in one hour to go over it :) More to come soon.
Hello. I got my lifeprint and believe I ordered extra film. Do you know how I can find out? I only see my original order for the lifeprint itself and not the extra film addition that I believe I made later. Also, I haven't received my rugged case. Do you guys have an ETA for that yet? Hey @Kelvin, thanks for your feedback. It helps us improve. Truly. Most every instant photo printer today uses ZINK technology for printing (Polaroid, LG, HP, us, others). This technology is great because it allows us to make super small and portable printers that you can take anywhere. The downside is that the photo quality does need some improvement… and we’re working on that :)
The color correcting algorithms we are building to improve photo quality have not yet been implemented. We should be updating our app in the next couple of weeks with a new color correcting algorithm that will increase overall photo quality. No other ZINK printer in the world will have this.
Additionally, we have a full photo editing suite within our App so when you’re getting ready to print, you can make some changes to the photo to adjust for any degradation in sharpness or brightness. For any print that seems dull or faded, I would recommend turning up the brightness a little bit and turning up the "warmth" in the "color" area. But the new update should help a lot too.

When you advertised rich color sharp details and AR I jumped on the idea but now when I finally get to print out the photos using my android I was highly disappointed. The color is dull and lacks in sharpness, but the redeeming factor is the AR but most of the time the display is only a photo and the AR system is on until activated. So it is quite disappointing sorry. Love the product love the AR but hate the printout quality.
@Shauna, the Lifeprint printer is not quite ready for public Android release yet, but we will be having this soon. Probably in the next 45 days. There will be NO PROBLEM to use the printers you bought with your Android phones once the Android App goes live :)
This is probably addressed somewhere else in comments but there are way too many to wade through. I just looked at the printers I ordered (one was an Xmas present for my sister) both boxes say for iPhones and we both have Androids, does it make a difference?

I ordered a case when I ordered my printer. I see below that they will be available to purchase in Feb/Mar, will the backers that pre-ordered ours get them before the store sells them? My top of printer comes off easily and desperately waiting for my completion of order.
