We're really hoping to go over the minimum goal we need to start production, so to encourage that, we've got some stretch goals!
If we raise $7,000 - Local burlesque dancer Piccola Tushy will dance at our cast and crew screening this November! Plus Molly Mueller will appear in a bonus video of your choosing. Maybe it will be an episode of Drunk Vs Sober, or maybe she'll interview an interesting person about town. Our backers will decide as part of the survey given after the campaign closes.
If we raise $8,000 - We'll release a spin off episode for another character from Least Favorite Love Songs! That means the runner up from your vote will also get a spin off!
If we raise $10,000 – All of our backers (that's every single person who's donated to this campaign) will get a personalized video from set from someone on our team! And if you're already set to receive a personalized video because of your reward level, this will be in addition to that!
Least Favorite Love Songs is a web series about a sex-starved, struggling writer, her indie rocker boyfriend, and the strange things that make us tick. Season One is up online. It's gotten a great response, and because of that, even more talented people have joined our team. We can’t wait to start shooting, but first, we need your help.
We’re trying to raise enough money to produce the second season of Least Favorite Love Songs. If we reach our goal of $5,000, we’ll have enough to cover our basic production costs. That's the minimum we need to start production on Season 2, but we hope to raise more than that. That's why we've got new STRETCH GOALS! If we reach these goals we can pay more people on our crew, we can afford better equipment and we can have money in the budget to promote the series. Let's make it happen!
Why should I fund it?
Because we’re a free, online web series, we rely first on our fans for support. Every donation helps because in addition to paying our production costs, it also serves as leverage to get more funds. It’s the horsepower that gets this whole train going.
Not only that, but we’ll use your support dollars wisely. All the money we raise will be put into the world’s leanest production budget and will go directly toward paying the wide variety of film professionals and artists who make this series possible.

Who are we?
We are a group of writers, actors, comedians, producers, musicians, filmmakers, art directors, makeup artists, editors and other talented film folk who came together to create the first season as an experiment. We’re really happy with how that experiment turned out, and now there are even more of us on board for Season 2.
We've been lucky enough to be part of a great comedy theater here in New Orleans, The New Movement, where we found a lot of the talented actors, writers and filmmakers who have helped us make this series!
What’s our Timeline?
We’ll be shooting in the summer (June-August, 2013), and we'll start releasing episodes for Season 2 in November. But even before that, Backers will see lots of behind the scenes videos and updates so they can follow along as we shoot and edit the series.
Why are we doing this?
We really like comedies - watching them, talking about them, and making them. We particularly like it when comedy is used as a way down into some of the darker aspects of the human experience. We like laughing at that great gulf between what we want to be and what we are.
Maybe you do too. Maybe you think there are some interesting stories to be told by the characters we’ve created. Maybe you want to support us.
What happens if we surpass our goal?
We are really hoping to go past our $5,000 goal, because that means we can make an even better project. $5,000 is the minimum we need to produce Season 2. With more resources we can get better equipment, costumes and locations, we can afford to pay more members of our team (which is great because they'll be working all day in the New Orleans summer), and we'll have funds to promote the series which is key!
How do I know the money's going to good use?
Within a month of the project being funded, we'll provide a backer's-only update with our top sheet budget for the film, so you see firsthand how we spend your money.
If I donate, when can I redeem the incentive?
If we meet our goal, we will ship all physical merchandise directly to you in June. For reward levels that include a day on set, we will contact you in June with some production dates over the summer, and you can choose the date that works for you. For walk on roles, we'll contact you about roles and will let you know what day that role is filming. The cast and crew screening is projected for November. There is no transportation included in any of the reward levels. But if you aren't in New Orleans, we'll send you personalized videos from set!
Yes. You can pledge from anywhere.
Is my pledge amount publicly displayed?
No. Only you and the project creator will be able to see your pledge amount. We thank you on our facebook page and twitter page, but we don't ever include amounts in there, and we save up our thanks until there's a bunch of people to include, so it would take a mad genius, beautiful mind, fortune teller to be able to tell how much you pledged.
Risks and challenges
Because this is our second season, we have a pretty good idea of the challenges we might face, and we're ready!
If we make our Kickstarter goal, but then don't get any additional funding through sponsors and other sources, we will still have enough to get season 2 produced and online.
