Our First BIG Platform Announcement!

Posted by Leviathan Interactive, LLC (Creator)

We interrupt our regularly scheduled broadcast with this special announcement --

Project Lodus will be releasing on PC!

We told you we'd listen, and after being asked, pleaded, prodded, and even begged by the masses we have decided that we can commit ourselves to a PC release. PC really excites us. It's a huge platform, you guys all seem to love it, and it really does make the most sense for a young developer like us. Does this mean we are going to be PC exclusive? No! We still want Project Lodus to be multi-platform so definitely keep alternative platform suggestions coming in.

We also wanted to address the large amount of you who have asked for an OUYA release. We absolutely love the idea of OUYA, and it's totally understandable why you all do as well. As of now we are intently looking into those possibilities and are trying to get in touch with their people to pursue it farther.

Thanks again to all of you for your support and interest, we can never fully show our gratitude. Take care.

Happy Gaming,

Leviathan Interactive

@Ben We love Steam, it seems like a great fit and a logical choice, however it's just too early to say. Lots of development still ahead. Stay tuned!

      Will there be Steam support?

@StarWallace We're big console gamers ourselves, so yes we will definitely be playing Project Lodus with gamepads as well as the standard keyboard/mouse combo as we develop it. The combat system was originally envisioned on an Xbox 360 controller, so yes, gamepad support will be a high priority for us.

@Lukas Yes me mean Windows PC. We keep hearing input about Linux and we're listening. Can't commit further right now, but thanks for the feedback.

FYI, PC isn't a platform. I assume you mean Windows?

I'd love to have Linux support …
